“The team at Master Builder did a great job and were extremely professional. We hired them to remodel our all our baths and kitchen. The work included new tile, new cabinets and new bathtub installation. The kitchen included new design with all things installed. They outsourced some of the plumbing but performed most of the work themselves. They are detail oriented and left a clean work area each evening. They used the garage for their shop throughout the remodel and it worked fine. They also bring a trailer with an impressive array of professional tools. Everyone listened to our questions and suggestions. They were fair about changes or mistakes which happens with any large jobs. My only recommendation is to get clear understanding of the type and frequency of communication you want to receive. I like emails answered in 24 hours and had to learn that isn't their style so if I didn't get a response in 48 I'd email back with an ETA for the response otherwise we were very happy. They were always prompt and arrived when scheduled. This is a great team to work with and I'm confident we'll have them do more work in the next few years.”

“We asked Lori for a consulation for a re-do of our tiny kitchen. We wanted it open, bright, and updated. She is so approachable and her ideas were so on target! She really listened to us, and curated choices down so they were manageable and easy for us to make decisions. Her taste is impeccable. If we were leaning in a wrong direction, she was always able to help us understand her reasoning and realize the "vision". For example, I wanted glass for the top cabinets, but she explained that taking the cabinetry all the way to the ceiling would make the room feel larger. Boy, was she right! Folks have actually asked us if we had our ceiling raised! We love our "new" kitchen, and receive extremely complimentary feedback from everyone. “Last fall, we took on our first remodel project (master bath) and hired Kathie Maughan to work with us on the project. While we had the choice of just having her do a design for us, we knew we wanted the added comfort of having her handle all the details, and had her manage the project as well. This was a really good decision. Kathie made sure we felt comfortable with every phase of the project and worked hard at correcting any issues that came up. She checked in almost every day and was always available to answer my questions (even on a Saturday at one point). He also designed and is advising me how to direct contractors for a quilting studio that is nicely blending with our 100-year old home. I will always work with Chris. I trust his judgment as he is clear why something would or may not work. I trust his integrity and work ethic. Excellent work.”

“My wife and I are an older couple needing an easy walk-in shower.After going to home shows and big box stores. We requested Toss the Tub to make a design and an estimate. We also received competitive bids from other companies. We explained our tight budget and requirements. They came to our house and discussed all the aspects of what would need to be done. They provided all the details, materials, and time frames of when things would be done. They also offered to allow us to do some of the finishing items to keep costs down. I explained that I might have to do a portion of the project a piece at a time. They offered financing at real reasonable terms. They also offered to do parts now and later as we could afford it. They are going to replace our tub with a tiled shower, floor and back splash. The final design changed as couple of times but they worked with us each time. The final cost was less than $8000 much less than I expected. I will send pictures when the job is done in August or you can come by and take them we they are working.”
