“We had the kitchen of our late Victorian terraced house replaced in November with some items custom built to our requests. Excellent materials, very good clean workmanship and good communication with the project leader and his team. The custom built pull out table is just what we wanted and made of solid materials. The fan built into our existing chimney breast has been very successfully getting rid of cooking smells etc. The internal kitchen door was converted to a sliding door which has opened up the kitchen. We were well above our original budget partly because of the quality of materials, new appliances and some extras e.g. more building work than was anticipated. After care has been very good and prompt attention given to any problems.”

“Back in the closing weeks of 2008, we provided David Lisle with a description of the space, our requirements, some dimensions and a couple of photos. It wasn’t long before he began sketching free hand on a large sheet of paper with a biro, producing imaginative, striking and unique ideas as he worked. His years of experience had clearly given him a strong appreciation of the practical ergonomics of a workspace, but it was the beauty of his creation that was always front and centre. Over the following few days, we threw ideas to and fro until we arrived at a genuinely exciting design. Other than the oven housing, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, there were no “standard units” in the room. If the space needed a 617mm drawer unit, then that was what David designed and specified. There are no random filler strips in his work other than those necessary to cater for the inherent imperfections in all walls. His design was 100% bespoke and it showed in David’s sketches and technical drawings. The install was expected to take 5 weeks, and in-spite of some heavy February snow causing some issues, the project was delivered exactly on time. There were 17 craftsmen/women involved in the creation of our room and every one of them provided a superb and professional service. Once completed, the kitchen was simply stunning. It’s 7 years since the install and nearly everyone who has ever stepped into the room has commented on how lovely it is. Other than a few small pieces of general wear and tear, the room looks as perfect as the day it was installed and I attribute this primarily to the quality of the product. A David Lisle kitchen really does represent ‘value for money’. There are other, lower cost ways of installing a new kitchen, but these will not come close to the level of quality, unique design, bespoke service and attention to detail delivered with a David Lisle kitchen. We feel that our kitchen was worth every penny, and it continues to give us pleasure every day. Consequently we have no hesitation in recommending David Lisle to anyone in the market for a new kitchen, especially if they want to make a lasting statement with the room.”

“We are delighted with our Siematic kitchen and found all aspects of working with Grid 13 a pleasure. The showroom is aesthetically welcoming but personalised and comfortable. Our initial visit made obvious the range of products and styles available and Natalie understood that I had ideas in mind and then facilitated finding the perfect units, splash-backs and work surfaces. As quite a large family, we struggled for space in our old kitchen. I had a large dining room that I loved and would never have thought that I could be persuaded to swap the spaces around in favour of a larger kitchen. Natalie's designs and the high quality virtual images made it clear to us that her vision for our kitchen was the right choice. One of the aspects that we were most pleased with was the quality of builders, electricians, plumbers and kitchen fitters recommended to us. Without exception, they were highly skilled and professional; well-mannered and tidy. Any unavoidable hitches in the process were dealt with straight away and with the minimum amount of fuss. The kitchen fitted seamlessly into a large room; the MDF frames are perfectly fitted and ensure that the room looks finished and contrasts the modern style of the kitchen with the traditional features of the room which we so desperately wanted to retain. The units are sturdy but elegant and some of the smaller details such as the plug sockets and cupboard space utilisation are useful and space-economic. The Siemans appliances are quiet and work brilliantly; I certainly expected to find the transition to an induction hob more challenging after cooking exclusively on an AGA for twelve years! The site was left tidy but the included cleaning service afterwards was thorough and like all the work, organised at the time we needed it. I recommend Siematic kitchens and specifically Grid 13 without reservation; a beautiful kitchen and a great experience.”

“I must say the service from Phil and his team was excellent. We had quotes from Wickes and Howdens which were roughly 20% more expensive than MLS. I was a little dubious at first about going with an independent kitchen supplier but after reading various reviews and meeting Phil and the owner Mike at the showroom all those worries were put to bed. We opted for the white gloss door with the integrated handle without any pelmets with an Island sink and taps. We needed an internal wall moving to open up the utility room. This is where Richard the builder/fitter comes in who came to survey the job along with Phil who were both very informative as to what needed to be done and the timescales associated with the building/installation works. I was then given a delivery and installation date and the kitchen and appliances were delivered on time. Richard and Mick arrived the next day to remove the wall and install the appropriate steel RSJ, and reboard the ceiling ready for the new spotlights. The next day began with Rob the electrician attending to put first fix electrics in followed by the installation of the kitchen units. We did have a problem as two doors were damaged but a quick call by Richard to base and replacements arrived the next day. The units were all installed after day 3 and someone from the granite company attended to template our kitchen. I was told it would take 7 days for the granite to be turned around but the granite was actually installed 4 days after the survey. Richard and Mick returned a couple of days later to finish our lovely kitchen. Richard even demonstrated how to use the lovely Neff coffee machine. I will be recommending MLS to family and friends. The service we received was extremely professional even though we did keep changing our minds about the type of kitchen we were after. Eventually we choose the cream Victorian which proved to be an ideal choice. couldn't be more happy with the quality, finish and overall look topped off with a superb granite countertop! Good knowledge of designing a kitchen but also advised and listened to what we required and what our needs were. The help and assistance we received was second to none and we received a visit on a Sunday from Patrick who delivered the curved door which was specially ordered. The only thing we weren't hapoy with was the attitude of the fitter when he called to discuss the work, we must have picked a wrong day as I decided to go with our own fitters! It all worked out very well delivery was on time and no damage at all. The granite fitters did an excellent job and the finished result still looks superb after 2 years. Well done and I have and would always recommend this company for your kitchen needs.”
