“I would highly recommend Royal hardwood refinishing to do your floors. We just had porcelain tile laid in the front Breezeway as well as the kitchen and then we had hardwood laid in our family room dining room and bedroom. They were professional, hard-working, and on time.. every time. The quality of work and detail put into the finished product was seamless. My husband and I are both so happy with the choice that we made and would definitely use their services again and recommend them to our friends and family”

“Jim responded promptly to every enquiry. When he came to the property to measure, he found that the cabinets over the fridge were torn down due to the height of the newer fridge. With his professional opinion, it would be much better to have the cabinets rebuilt and installed for the purpose of selling the property. Without changing the quoted price, Jim offered to rebuild the over fridge cabinets. When the job finished, everything looked perfect and the kitchen looked more completed with the new doors and the new section added over the fridge. Jim always considered the best interest for the clients. Jim is helpful, considerate and professional with high quality material used.”

“Three different renovated kitchens, three different homes in Toronto’s Annex, the escarpment in Stoney Creek and now downtown in renewed Hamilton. All have one thing in common - the deft touch of Biljana McDowell. Cooking a gourmet meal has never been easier with Biljana’s smart practical layout and design. Silent drawers that are sized so Marta and I can fit a complete set of 11 pots into a single drawer, all the bottles of oil and vinegar fitting neatly into another easy to pullout drawer, and plenty of space for everything from groceries to the “good” Mexican dishes. At small family dinners or large parties everyone gathers in the kitchen. As we planned the kitchen is the focal point of the house and entertaining. Adding to economy of scale is superb workmanship that has stood the test of time and my occasional abuse. Unlike some designers Biljana actually listens to what you want and delivers your own dream not a copy of some trendy kitchen in a glossy. Add design genius, fun, warm, creative, practical, detailed, great to work with. Did I say cost-conscious? I would hire Biljana a fourth time except my wife would kill me if we ever move again. “We came to Mark with a need to re-design our laundry room into a configuration to include a mud room with accessibility and safety being the priority. Given the space was oddly laid out and space limited, it took some creativity. Also, we needed to modify our powder room bathroom and 1 upstairs bathroom to suit the special needs person however keeping home integrity. Tall order. Mark and company delivered incredible results! We cannot review them high enough. The contractors used were professional and friendly. Rob, the main tradesman, is an artist in his work. Mark managed the project skillfully and timely. For families looking to invest in their homes for bang on results, look no further. We found this company on homestars and opted to believe in others reviews. So grateful we did! From the get-go, they were super cool and helpful, taking the time to understand what I wanted and then making it even better. The cabinets they built are straight-up gorgeous. I mean, talk about quality craftsmanship! They fit like a glove and totally transformed my kitchen. I have so much more space now, and everything looks organized and slick. It's like they knew exactly what I needed before I even did! The crew was top-notch too. They were friendly, on time, and got the job done without any hiccups.
