“Having bought a house with "good bones," but outdated, we were willing to tackle lots of DIY projects. The complete gutting and reconfiguration of the master bath was not one of those projects, however. We visited the big box kitchen and bath departments and a number of local contractors. We came upon DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen in the process and visited their design studio. After a couple of conversations with Ernest Gilbert, the owner, and a thorough check of references (including BBB and Angie's List) we asked Mr. Gilbert to visit our home and prepare a quote. To be honest, it wasn't the lowest. But we liked the thorough approach -- including a consultation with a designer on the firm's staff -- and signed a contract for the work to begin. It was a mess, for certain, but daily clean-up was done scrupulously by the staff and the attention to detail was outstanding. We're picky, but the lead carpenter on the job was even more so. He rejected work by subcontractors we might have easily accepted and never relented until the finish was perfect. We have had contractors do jobs for us in the past -- from additions to complete new construction -- but this experience was the best. We liked the result so much we have hired DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen to now renovate our kitchen.”

“Jon is the best contractor we have ever worked with; at this point I almost never get additional opinions. His crew is always on time, professional and does an outstanding job. Jon makes sure to communicate frequently, never starts a job while working on too many other jobs at the same time-which keeps him laser focused on your project. He typically keeps you on budget, and if a price comes in too high he will have you look at alternative companies. The times I go over his allowance is my own doing, picking more expensive tile, appliances, etc. Jon started out remodeling our kitchen 14 years ago, and has since updated two bathrooms, installed beautiful mahogany and lead glass front doors, installed 4 sets of doubled pained doors on the patio, completely remodeled our prize winning master bath, and just now finished painting the outside of our home!
