“We absolutely love our new kitchen!! The design was exactly what we had in mind but David gave a few suggestions which we hadn’t thought of and it turned out even better. The fitting was fast (about 3-4 days as it’s a small kitchen) and the lads were really tidy and respectful of the rest of our house. To be honest we could have paid double the price elsewhere and not got the care, service and design ideas from Cook & Baker - I definitely recommend speaking to David if you want a great kitchen at a fair price! - Laura & Brett”

At our first meeting I immediately found him to be friendly, approachable and a dedicated professional with many years of experience in the design and fitting of interiors. Following our initial discussions regarding ideas and budget he quickly produced a detailed plan of the new kitchen. This was both stylish and practicable. I was impressed by his attention to detail. Rob had incorporated all I had requested as well as providing solutions to problems I had not even considered. He carefully guided me through product selection that was available from the comprehensive range contained within his numerous catalogues. In addittion he assisted me with sourcing specialist items, for example, the arctic white glass splash backs used instead of tiles, plinth lighting etc. At no time did Rob pressure me into increasing my costs. I believe that due to all his efforts and support, throughout the whole process, Rob installed me a bespoke kitchen, of the best quality possible within the agreed budget. With each consultation my confidence in Rob Increased. From start to finish his commitment and enthusiasm for my project was completely exclusive and genuinely inspired. He commenced and completed on the agreed dates and made the whole experience worry free. To employ Rob was definitely one of my better life choices. “We had the kitchen of our late Victorian terraced house replaced in November with some items custom built to our requests. Excellent materials, very good clean workmanship and good communication with the project leader and his team. The custom built pull out table is just what we wanted and made of solid materials. The fan built into our existing chimney breast has been very successfully getting rid of cooking smells etc. The internal kitchen door was converted to a sliding door which has opened up the kitchen. We were well above our original budget partly because of the quality of materials, new appliances and some extras e.g. more building work than was anticipated. After care has been very good and prompt attention given to any problems.”

“I must say the service from Phil and his team was excellent. We had quotes from Wickes and Howdens which were roughly 20% more expensive than MLS. I was a little dubious at first about going with an independent kitchen supplier but after reading various reviews and meeting Phil and the owner Mike at the showroom all those worries were put to bed. We opted for the white gloss door with the integrated handle without any pelmets with an Island sink and taps. We needed an internal wall moving to open up the utility room. This is where Richard the builder/fitter comes in who came to survey the job along with Phil who were both very informative as to what needed to be done and the timescales associated with the building/installation works. I was then given a delivery and installation date and the kitchen and appliances were delivered on time. Richard and Mick arrived the next day to remove the wall and install the appropriate steel RSJ, and reboard the ceiling ready for the new spotlights. The next day began with Rob the electrician attending to put first fix electrics in followed by the installation of the kitchen units. We did have a problem as two doors were damaged but a quick call by Richard to base and replacements arrived the next day. The units were all installed after day 3 and someone from the granite company attended to template our kitchen. I was told it would take 7 days for the granite to be turned around but the granite was actually installed 4 days after the survey. Richard and Mick returned a couple of days later to finish our lovely kitchen. Richard even demonstrated how to use the lovely Neff coffee machine. I will be recommending MLS to family and friends. “We first spoke with Ricky at Richards & Richards in March of 2019, and were immediately impressed by the way that he and all the other staff treated us. He came out, measured up, taking into account what we were looking for at that time. He came up with ideas that we had not considered, and invited us back to the showroom after a week or so to see the 3D designs, which helped us to visualise the look of our new kitchen. Both my wife & I were absolutely amazed by how he had managed to make our kitchen look so different and so much bigger. There was absolutely no hard sell whatsoever! We threw Ricky a number of ‘Curve Balls’ resulting in him having to amend his design…….yet again. To say that he has the patience of a saint is an understatement! I cannot say how pleased we were with the way that the installation was organised and project managed. We knew exactly what was being done, by who and on what days. Everyone who worked on our project was courteous and respectful of our property, it was a messy job but they kept it to a minimum and always cleaned up every day. The quality of workmanship carried out and quality of materials is fantastic. Rick who did the installation was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble for him. No job goes without hitches and problems, it is how a company deals with them that shows how good it’s service is, and R&R get 10 out of 10 in respect of this. “We had an area of approx 100sqm to work with for our kitchen. We decided on a hand painted shaker style kitchen for its timeless qualities and contemporary look, We set about researching and finding the right company, which involved travelling to London, Cheshire, leamington Spa and Birmingham. Russell & Hutton were our choice. They were very proffesional during the design, installation and finishing process. Their installers were very skilled and accommodating. We found the team at R&H down to earth, practical and knowledgeable. Out of all the high end kitchen companies we visited they were the only one who knew their product inside and out. When we visited their showroom we simply loved their kitchens. I am very particular and admire a well made product and identified almost immediately that R&H had a passion for quality and tasteful design. They were straight forward when it came to pricing, specification of materials and appliances, with no hidden costs. We did not want to scrimp on our kitchen but at no time was there any hard sell as their product speaks for itself. I’ve lost count of the positive comments we have had on our kitchen.
