With a background in retail, furniture design, and visual arts, owner and principal designer Tania began her career in the kitchen and bathroom industry over 20 years ago. She has honed her skills working with industry leaders, becoming a master of challenging spaces and one of Australia's influential designers. Tania is a dynamic, award-winning, accredited Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD). As the head of the KBDi association in SA and an active member of various facets of the building industry, her passion for design is undeniable. Fascinated by new products and unique design ideas, Tania adapts her style to suit her clients. “Working with people to create the perfect environment is a personal passion, and my goal is to make it a fun and enjoyable experience.”

We were lucky enough to work on a bathroom and laundry renovation that Tania had fully designed. It was a delight to work with her designs, they were clearly presented and accurate which made things much easier for us. Tania's talent is clearly present in the result of the project which looks fantastic and was worthy of a HIA award entry (fingers crossed we win!). We were so impressed with Tania that we have worked with her on another project of ours based off our recommendation of her to our clients. We would highly recommend Tania, she has an eye for unique design, is super friendly and is clearly passionate about what she does.

Tania was amazing from the start. She helped me with the design of all our joinery for both our renovation and our new build. She has been enthusiastic and supportive in bringing my ideas to life while adding her own touch and practicality. She has helped me every step of the way from floor layouts, cupboard configurations, product choices and colors. Her plans made our builders job a lot easier and were directly integrated into our construction drawings. We also used her plans to get a number of quotes from cabinet makers to make sure we were getting the best price. Because joinery is such a large part of the budget when you renovate and/or build I would highly recommend on using a designer such as Tania to get things right. I would definitely do it again. We engaged Tania Kloester on the recommendation of friends. We requested Tania to assist in the internal redesign of a 20yo house in Brighton that we were seeking to renovate. We found Tania to be very friendly and easy to work with. Importantly, she was very much up to date on all the modern appliances and fittings currently available as well as the best way to use space as well as maximise storage. This last point was critical as we were downsizing from a larger residence with a lot of 'clutter' accumulated over a period of 50 years! Tania was able to design cupboards & storage throughout the house and to draw up plans and specifications for the builder and cabinet maker to follow. The end result was a quality finish and a practical application that we are extremely happy with. When visiting suppliers, Tania's knowledge, assistance and advice was invaluable and , importantly, saved a lot of time. The alternative was for us to research each individual item which would have taken ages.

We did not have the biggest of budgets for our new kitchen renovation but after meeting Tania we knew that our dream kitchen would be possible. Tania listened to our wants and then designed our beautiful kitchen which we are delighted with. As I had no contacts with trades Tania also “held my hand” and obtained the various quotations for the works from quality builders and cabinetry makers which just made the overall process so much easier. Tania was in contact with me and the trades throughout the works and helped in keeping everything in budget and within completion date. Her advice on colours, textures and products for the renovation was invaluable. So if you are like us and seek that extra care and professional assistance then I highly recommend TK Design.

Tania provided kitchen plans for a renovation and was very helpful, listening to our needs and suggesting alternatives to keep costs down. She met with us a number of times to ensure that all our questions were answered and everything was correct and then we supplied plans to a kitchen manufacturer. She has a lot of great ideas, a very friendly rapport, yet very professional. We would highly recommend using her services.

Have stunning new kitchen, new ensuite, main bathroom, fitted furniture for main lounge and dining room designed by Tania Kloester. Her designs are very original, always to the style of the customer and finished products superb. She will spend a huge amount of time with you, visiting at home and outside looking at products. The plans are drawn up and at meetings the plans could be changed depending if the design was not exactly what I wanted, or just minor changes needed done. I have beautiful interior designs and one-of-a-kind furniture and people are blown away when they enter the house. You cannot go wrong with Tania's skills and designs and I will use employ her again when other projects are needed.

Complete cabinetry design for our home extension. Tania really took the time to listen to what our key needs for every room were in conjunction with storage requirements and practical, durable and aesthetically pleasing materials. She has persisted throughout an overall lengthy design phase (beyond her control) and has remained connected and available throughout the extension construction phase, to iron out issues that presented themselves. She has been available to liaise and advocate during meetings with the building designer, builder and cabinetmaker and has ways replied to email/telephone queries in a timely manner with tangible outcomes and professional advice. I highly recommend TKDesign for Tania's professional, approachable, pragmatic and stylish concepts and service.
