We Employed Scenic Blue Design to do a full landscape of our new home. We were not disappointed at the result, Initially Chris Came and spoke to us to find out what we require to be done. After excepting the Quotation the work began by a full professional team that Chris recommended. Our project was completed end of may and we could not be happier our thanks to Alex, and Scotty and Team. We would highly recommend them for any future work to be done. Regards Martin

Chris was absolutely fantastic. His designs were creative and his willingness to work with you to design something you love an absolute rarity in the modern age. Chris has a background in engineering so his designs are based on structural principle and concepts are based on more than just aesthetic. My wife and I highly recommend Chris to those who want to engage with a designer who is highly engage, offers fantastic support and delivers when promised.

We contracted Chris Slaughter and his team at Scenic Blue Design to design and landscape our backyard. What had been an overgrown jungle was transformed by Chris and his team into a versatile outdoor space with an outdoor room, terraced lawn and pool. The whole family now enjoys this space which has significantly extended our entertainment and living space. Three years later we are still getting many compliments on the design . The garden is beautiful but also relatively easy to maintain. Chris was very professional and managed the project from start to finish dealing with the challenges that arose . He was very open to our ideas translating them into what now is a truly unique and beautiful garden. We would highly recommend Chris and the team at Scenic Blue Design.

Chris took the time to understand our brief and designed a magnificent garden that is sympathetic to and showcases its nineteenth century heritage. We had complex requirements including building a barn with car, office and fitness space, together with a pool and outdoor cooking/entertainment space. Chris’ commitment and enthusiasm for delivering a quality, fit for purpose design exceeded our expectations.

"Our brief to Chris and Scenic Blue Design was simple, we wanted a garden that would be functional, easy to maintain and a relaxing place spend time with family and friends. To this end Scenic Blue Design hit the mark and now we enjoy a backyard that is a true paradise! Chris Slaughter and the team from Scenic Blue Design put their hand up to assist with a full garden makeover to create a place of peace and reflection where could honour and remember our murdered son, Matty. Hence the project name of "Matty's Garden". Chris was able to see things in our steep yard that others could not and design appropriately. He liaised with numerous contractors, labourers and suppliers so that all ran like clockwork. It's impossible to recommend a more professional, competent and caring person than Chris.

I first met Chris more than 10 years ago, when he created a landscaping design for our then brand new property. Chris was responsible for creating a design for both front and rear gardens, pool, large deck area and driveway. His attention to detail is impeccable, and we regularly have people stop and compliment us on how our landscaping is the best they have seen, and comment on how well it enhances our home. More importantly, Chris has created an oasis for our family, one which we can enjoy all year around, and which brings us great pleasure. Beyond that, Chris is a true professional who has continued to help with regular maintenance, and our garden is looking better than ever after 10 years. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris and Scenic Blue Designs to anyone looking for landscape design and maintenance, and I look forward to continuing our relationship with Chris for many years to come.

Chris listened to our requirements and developed the design keeping our budget in mind. He offered us creative solutions to surmount the issues our spaces offered. He then took on the project management side of the contract from introducing us to our landscape builder, through to the completion of the project. At all times Chris was professional and easy to work with. He has delivered a series of spaces that meet our brief and enhance our house and garden.

I can't thank Chris enough for creating a beautiful relaxing garden that we enjoy everyday. It has now been 5 years since Chris created our backyard oasis and I am still amazed at what we have.
