“I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

“Melissa MacDonald is a very talented and professional Landscape Architect. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. She worked seamlessly with the contractor who highly respected her expertise. I am happy to write this review because I have been recommending her to my clients and to my friends who have been admiring her work as well.”

“We chose bp design to landscape our side and back yards after a house renovation. We have been very happy with results of the design which included a large amount of hardscape work (patio, steps, walkways), as well as many plants. Ms. Pantoja, head architect, worked with us closely to develop the plans, taking into consideration our wants, desires, and budget. She accompanied us to pick out the plants, and she was onsite for much of the hardscape work. We would recommend bp design highly.”

“Kristen designed a garden bed for my home. I came to first meeting with definite skills and preferences and needs/problems. Kristen listened and understood my questions, got to know my garden and me, and generated the design within a few weeks. The design had alternatives to considerate. She also hooked me up with pros to do tree removal and fireplace design. She was professional, upbeat and creative and easy/fun to work with. Seemed genuinely interested in my (small) project.”

“She's like a painter with plants. With a superb knowledge of natives. I loved her presentation and her education of us--complete with visuals--on all that she wanted to do with plants. She has a clean, modern sensibility, but with a friendly, approachable, style, even good humor in the work. She's willing to take ideas and bring them to fruition--we came prepared with ideas and she showed us how to make them work. And then, she brought her own smart vision. Vision. That's what she's got. And really knows her plants. It's worth noting that she has so much talent. With this kind of talent, she could be impossible to work with, but she is THE LOVELIEST human being to be around. A great, attentive listener, with a strong desire to please. She works her hiney off, meets deadlines, is on top of details, just overall, committed to satisfaction.”

“We served as a contractor to build Angie Verge's landscape design. Angie is extremely organized and efficient. She provided a full bid package with clear CAD drawings to build off of, all to scale with complete dimensions and notes. She was open to discussion, collaboration, and changes while still maintaining leadership of the process and executing effective decision-making throughout. This is the combination we look for in a designer. She provided us with valuable constructive feedback after the project. The experience of working with Angie was great from start to finish, and the project was a success. She is a creative, knowledgeable and competent designer with a strong sense of New England landscapes, and she is a highly professional project manager. “Hilarie did a terrific job of design and executing a comprehensive landscape project for our North Shore property. She has an uncanny and unerring eye for what might work in a location and quickly comes up with creative ideas on how fill space. For example, we had an old stone anchor buried in the mud on the side of our property. She recommended placing it upright as the centerpiece in our side garden, where it now stands looking terrific. In addition, one of Hilarie's great strengths is her ability to co-ordinate all aspects of a project so that they mesh into an integrated whole. She also brings with her an excellent team which is talented, polite, hard working, and reasonably priced. We have continued to use them for ongoing maintenance and they have been great. Bottom Line- We highly recommend Hilarie. She is creative, professional, and easy to work with.”
