“I engaged Ryan for my house rebuild after using another landscape designer with not much satisfaction. Ryan was very attractive to the details of the brief we provided. We did not Hv a very clear vision but wanted a garden which would be like our small haven where we watch our two kids grow, As both me and my wife are professionals we wanted a low maintenance space with lovely plants and water interplay. Ryan came up with such a clever concept plan that we just fell in love with it. He has an amazing attention for detail and understands his skill and how to balance form function client expectation with the ground reality. He not only helped in selecting the right contractor for the job but even came up with further ideas t to fine tune the design way after the able of his work was finished. We are super excited about the project build starting soon. This company is going to create a big name in the landscape design game.”

“Sarah Jane has transformed our very small front garden spaces which were lacklustre bordering on ugly. These spaces are notoriously difficult to plant and maintain. Sarah Jane has managed to enhance the front of our building in an architecturally sympathetic manner. From our first meeting I was impressed by Sarah Jane's professional approach and her quick grasp of the brief. Above all she is a designer who listens to her client. In this case it was more about what we knew didn't want, we really didn't have a clue as to what we did want. We are totally delighted with what she has created for us. I have no hesitation in recommending Shelloch Garden Designs.”

“We would recommend Michael and the team at North Hill without hesitation. They brought fresh ideas and a new perspective to our garden and have transformed it to provide a truly relaxing space. Our landscaping team Ryszard and Maciej worked tirelessly to bring Nicola & Michael's design to life, and Thomas' skillfully laid patio has given us a fantastic space to entertain. All this was achieved on budget and on time and we love it.”

“Rachel turned my sad unkept front garden into a garden to be proud of. My garden is one of the gardens Rachel has used to show her work. Rachel was really good listening to what I wanted and making it a reality. All plants and the bird bath came in on budget and to help me identify the plants Rachel even drew me a plan of the garden, with photos to show me what the plants were and a brief on how to look after each plant. Rachel turned up when she said she would and kept me updated with her work plan. Even when Rachel had completed the work she would give advice when I contacted her about things I was unsure about and called round to show me how/ what to prune. Would definitely recommend Rachel, if I ever need a garden designing again I would use Rachel.”

“This was the first time we'd used a garden designer and Andreea was fantastic from start to finish. We'd moved house into a renovation project and had four terraces to fill that were pretty much a blank canvas. We wanted something cohesive, fairly low maintenance and that would work with the right plants in the space, so turned to Andreea for the planting plan. She took a detailed brief, noting our preferences for style and colours and returned an excellent proposal and plan within the agreed timescale. The presentation of the plan and details of the plants and overall scheme was excellent. Andreea worked with us to refine a couple of details and now we're planning to start planting towards the end of winter. Andreea has also offered to help us identify a supplier as this will be quite a significant purchase to cover the four terraces. All in all, Andreea was a delight to work with and we're full of confidence that we have a planting scheme we never could have come up with on our own that will look fabulous and be a joy to maintain over the years. We highly recommend Gardens & Project studio!”
Lynn Hill Garden Design

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars3 November 2015
“I asked Lynn to give me some ideas for my garden, which is in the process of being altered alongside making changes to my house. There were some quite technical aspects involved e.g. making a patio to go outside of some new French doors. Lynn was very knowledgeable and helpful about building regulations, and gave us a new perspective on how we can create a patio that we will both be happy with. Lynn also looked at he garden as a whole, and got us thinking about the views, focal points and screening neighbours and hiding unattractive areas. All in all we were very happy with the ideas that have come together now, and we feel we can move forward without making costly mistakes. I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking about making changes to their garden to consult with a garden designer, as you will save money and be happier with the result in the long run.”

“Karen Laing designed the East Haven Beechgrove Community Garden which was awarded Gold in the Beautiful Scotland competition in 2015. She created a community garden that met the needs and aspirations of the whole community. Her ideas were inspirational and the final design integrated our maritime heritage right into the heart of the village. Karen consulted with us at every stage and took everybody's ideas into account. As a result we have the most amazing gardens with beautiful plants which provide colour all year round. As a community, we can't recommend Karen highly enough. The gardens in East Haven have now become such a special place to visit and we are inundated with tourists. Karen must surely be one of the most talented garden designers/ landscape architect's in the UK.”

“I can’t rate Dug highly enough. He has done a fantastic job of transforming our garden into a beautiful additional room and a lovely place to be. We had some ideas about what we wanted but Dug really developed and added to these to create something so much better than we could’ve imagined. The development and planning was always consultative and Dug took time to get a good sense of our priorities and how we planned to use the space. The landscaping wasn’t an easy task but Dug dealt with unexpected challenges along the way with a smile and a solution. Nothing was a problem for long - he has gone above and beyond to sort everything. His knowledge of design, build, horticulture and eco-gardening is incredible and all of these skills combine with his creativity to great effect. He really cares and takes a great interest, not just in his design and build work but also in his ongoing concern in how the garden is getting on post completion. For a non gardener it’s so great to know I could ask his advice on the ongoing development and maintenance of the garden even after he has gone.”
Polley Garden Design

“Gillian Polley Created a wonderful design and a desire to potter at the bottom of our garden, tending the vegetables and fruit that now flourish in our potager. Introducing raised beds and gravel paths has reduced the back breaking work of the old vegetable plots and created more light in the garden. When the work is over we sit enjoying the evening sunshine in our lighter and brighter end of the garden. It is a space that draws everyone to it!”
