Moreover, she collaborated with us throughout the design process from concept to completion offering us different cost options and different phases of the overall design plan. “Elisa is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She also is sensitive to balancing my desires for our garden with my husband's. She replies quickly to all of my e-mails with thorough replies to my questions, and she attaches images and descriptions of flowers and shrubs where appropriate. Elisa has been a joy to work with, works within my budget and charges a reasonable amount. I would highly recommend her for all gardening and garden design needs.”

“I so enjoyed working with each member of the team at GardenWise, throughout our project -- good listeners, professional, kind, and responsive, not to mention talented and creative designers with excellent problem-solving approach, and terrific craftsmen. Estimates and budgets were accurate. The attention to detail and commitment to quality were superb - - even re-doing something I had said we "could live with" but they could not! That really, really impressed me. The project included a new driveway, lots of stone wall work, a new patio, water feature, and several new and renovated planting beds. I am eager to see how the plants 'return" in the coming summer and how they mature to fulfill the envisioned design.”

“My husband and I wanted a fresh look in our backyard garden. We were immediately drawn to Native Plant Scapes with their focus on supporting endangered plants and wildlife native to Maryland. It was clear, even from the first visit, that Robby and Shyon have a vision and passion for what they do. I received detailed information about the types of plants that would be used, along with how these plants would benefit the ecosystem surrounding them. The job was completed on time and with minimal interruption to our backyard. It’s been a few months now and the plants/flowers are still thriving with little to no maintenance required. Our patio is now a source of beauty and conversation. How wonderful to be a part of keeping Maryland truly green!”

“Debbie Friedman came to our home, listened to our unusual vision for a limited maintenance tropical garden in the DC metro area, researched the plants, provided the design, accommodated our critiques (didn't like certain scents, didn't want prickly leaves), updated design, provided recommendations for contractors, and suggestions for locations to purchase plants to keep costs down. I recommend her highly and would use her again in the future.”

“We had just bought our house and did not have the funds to improve our yard with a high end landscaping design company. Rather we had muscle (my husband) and I to do the labor. Enter Maureen Robinson. Respectful of our shoestring budget, Maureen worked with us to develop a garden design that allowed us to enhance the layout that was already in place. She helped design our backyard which was essentially dirt and our front walkway. She helped us choose flowers that allows our garden to be in bloom from April - November. Neighbors look at our yard enviously. Maureen works with the client's vision and offers great guidance. In our case, we were new to gardening, so Maureen both educated us about plants and helped us figure out what we liked. She helped us figure out our vision. She is delight to work with and knows landscape design very well.”

“I recently had the great opportunity to collaborate with Jennifer and our clients on a wonderful project in Bethesda. The work included the renovation of a ground-level kitchen and family room and the development of adjacent outdoor living space and gardens, including an outdoor kitchen designed by Jennifer and her team. The ease of flow and connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces was a key component of the scheme. Jennifer has a great collaborative spirit and knows her plants. Her work is beautiful!”
