“Elen designed a plan for a small plot that was effective at utilizing the existing plants, giving a simple and elegant finish to a previously haphazard garden. in addition, the planting plan she provided solved the problem of a very difficult water logged clay soil. She is full of knowledge and methodical in her approach.”

“We hired the services of April House Garden in 2021 to design the landscape of our newly rebuilt cottage. Fast forward to the end of 2023 the garden looks incredibly beautiful which includes a diverse assortment of flowers, plants, and some trees. “Faith provided me with a design and plant sourcing service. My garden was tired and several older shrubs where really past their best. Faith gave me the confidence to remove and replace instead of trying to work around old plants she also pointed out areas in the garden that were just not working form a design point of you and why. Which helped me justify making some radical changes and completely re-work the garden layout. She also pointed out how the larger trees in the garden needed maintenance and with Faiths team the work was carried out quickly and efficiently But the thing I found really tough was trying to understand which plants to put where and how to create the style of garden i was aiming for. This is where Faith was amazing, her plant knowledge and understanding was superb, she was instantly able to identify the sort of plants that would work for my soil and shade, and how to lay out a plan that gave interesting foliage and colour from early spring right through to autumn. Her clever design has given me a focal point and interesting paths so I can really appreciate my garden from several angles. The planting plan has provided a flow and the colour palette is exactly as I wanted. I never really appreciated how important it was to have a nice garden until now and my husband and i look out everyday and love the new space that has been created. Thank you.”

“We used Hendy Curzon Gradens to re-design our small walled garden. Even though this was a small project in comparison to some of their other work we were never made to feel any less important. Our first meeting with Adrienne and Nick went really well, we talked at length about all the various options, they listened to our "must have's" and considered the interior of our home in order for our garden compliment this. Their next process was to design and provide several storyboards of how our garden could look, these were well thought through and captured interest. During the landscaping phase, the HC team were excellent. The guys they employ to "build" the garden were very tidy, well mannered and a pleasure to have around. Planting was carried out by Adrienne, her attention to detail was fantastic. Our garden is now full of interest and is about to be a 'burst' of colour. I would recommend Hendy Curzon to anyone. They are a wonderful group of people to work with, who clearly love what they do, they are fresh with ideas but above all like to work with their clients on a partnership level. Great job here and thank you for making our garden such a wonderful place to spend time in.”

We were not disappointed as he helped us with a blueprint design and his knowledge was excellent and his attention to detail really shone through.
