Kris Romaniak Landscape Design
Edible Gardens Services in Hampstead, NH
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars17 February 2022
“I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

“Kristen designed a garden bed for my home. I came to first meeting with definite skills and preferences and needs/problems. Kristen listened and understood my questions, got to know my garden and me, and generated the design within a few weeks. The design had alternatives to considerate. She also hooked me up with pros to do tree removal and fireplace design. She was professional, upbeat and creative and easy/fun to work with. Seemed genuinely interested in my (small) project.”
Woodburn & Company Landscape Architecture, LLC
Edible Gardens Services in Hampstead, NH
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars14 October 2012
“Outstanding. Robbi is a highly regarded professional, by homeowners like ourselves and the other companies (architects, builders, landscape companies), with whom she works. In fact, we researched Robbi and her company, as we watched another property in the area undergo its "transformation" by Woodburn and Company. This property is a showpiece in our community and we liked what we saw happening - and hired her. Unlike many landscape architects, Robbi listens. She listens very closely and then translates her client's vision masterfully! She is always on top of budgets, always stays connected and communicates at the highest level. She asks questions that her clients may not think to ask...exploring the pros and cons of any and all ideas. She executes in a timely fashion; so much so, that we trust her to take the lead with others involved in the project(s). She can bridge the communication gaps on a variety of levels and delivers results consistently. Robbi is completely available to her clients. She is proactive and receives our highest endorsement. Our home has appeared in several photo shoots and is on many local house tours.”

“Carey was a delight to work with. She listened to my goals for my yard and created a long term plan for landscaping. The pictures are of phase one which is the front of the house. She found a water bowl that adds an architectural element and is lovely to look at in the rain. Installation was perfect and done in a timely manner. Can't wait to add to the project this spring.”
Elliott Brundage Landscape Architecture
Edible Gardens Services in Hampstead, NH
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars14 November 2012
“Elliott created a schematic for my large front yard, which by the way is a piece of art in itself that I will have framed and hung in my home. He did a fabulous job and exceeded our expectations. The way he laid out the plantings, it really framed our yard and made if feel like an oasis of our own. He was very particular in the positioning of the plantings to create privacy as well as a beautiful view from inside the home. Elliott is also very personable, and listens to what the customer wants, incorporating his expertise and customer desires into a couple of plans we had to choose from.”

“We hired Dan and Corey last summer to design plans for landscaping a difficult hillside and our front yard. They selected and installed the plantings and sod and installed cobblestone edging and a paver walkway. We decided to have them do the work in three phases to match our budget. They have completed the installation for two of the three phases, and we are thrilled with the outcome. Their work is top-notch. They have an eye for design and they use top-rated materials. In fact, they turned an eyesore of a rocky, weed-filled hillside into an asset. They know what they're doing, and they do things the right way. They are a small company (just the two guys) so they do the work themselves - which is how we like to do things. We plan to have them do the final phase this summer.”

McDermott Landscape Design

“Easy choice … the duo of Jess and Scott McDermott delivers double value - two sets of eyes/ears and perspectives. They really listened to what we wanted. They offered options, rationale and clear communications- no jargon. They collaborated well with our builder and landscaping install team. They hand-selected species at the nursery, they were onsite for delivery and even replaced what did not meet their standards. They followed-up multiple times and came back on-site to check on growth. I will add pics after young plantings bloom. HIGHLY recommend with no reservation.”
Angie Verge Landscape Design
Edible Gardens Services in Hampstead, NH
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars9 May 2016
“We served as a contractor to build Angie Verge's landscape design. Angie is extremely organized and efficient. She provided a full bid package with clear CAD drawings to build off of, all to scale with complete dimensions and notes. She was open to discussion, collaboration, and changes while still maintaining leadership of the process and executing effective decision-making throughout. This is the combination we look for in a designer. She provided us with valuable constructive feedback after the project. The experience of working with Angie was great from start to finish, and the project was a success. She is a creative, knowledgeable and competent designer with a strong sense of New England landscapes, and she is a highly professional project manager. You can trust a project will be executed well in Angie's hands.”
Chestnut Grove Design Group, Inc.

“I worked with Ryan Wikman, landscape designer and owner of Chestnut Grove Design Group, this fall to remodel my backyard. The issue was a 2-tiered garden with a grassy slope just past a retaining wall, too steep to comfortably reach the upper level. Ryan came with recommendations from my real estate agent and when we met and talked about my ideas - turning the slope into beds filled with small shrubs and perennials and installing organic-looking steps to lead up to the upper part of my garden - he immediately 'got' what I was looking for. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful, and over the course of multiple drafts, we quickly came to agree on the final version. I had a vision of what I wanted everything to look like but knew that I could trust Ryan's expertise and therefore heavily relied on him, especially when it came to selecting plant material that would grow best in my garden's microclimate. That being said, Ryan was always sure to ask me for my preferences and thoughts on everything along the way. It was important to me to work with someone I could connect with and Ryan and his team wonderfully fit the bill. Everyone was experienced, paid attention to the tiniest of details, and was very friendly and conscientious - there was never a loud word, blaring music or carelessness. Now that the project is complete, I could not be any happier! My garden looks truly amazing: I can say that Ryan and his team of dedicated and hardworking men and women completely transformed my backyard, and it is even more beautiful than I envisioned it. I can't wait to see everything come to live again in the spring! We already discussed a second project for next year!”
