“Butler Landscapes completed a landscape project (building a terraced area, pathways and driveways, two raised beds as well as a small amount of planting) in our suburban garden in the summer of 2016. We had plans for a garden design drawn up before meeting Sharon and Paul - but these needed modifying in order to keep the project within the budget. Paul was very helpful in suggesting the elements of re-design that would keep the price down to what we could afford, and having giving us a price he stuck to it for the entirety of the work - no hidden extras, no last minute requests for extra money. Compared to past experiences it was an absolute joy! I felt that both Sharon and Paul listened to what we wanted, and didn't try and persuade us to have a design or style that we were not comfortable with, but did suggest modifications that would improve on the the practicalities or look of the design - and we were very happy with these suggestions. The work itself was completed to a very high standard, the men working on the project worked hard and felt trustworthy, which was important to me as I was out at work for much of the time. The work did take longer to complete than initially anticipated, but this was largely due to the weather - which was not under Butler Landscapes' control. Paul ensured that all the loose ends were tied up before he asked for the final payment, coming back to the site a couple of times to ensure that all the last bits and pieces of work were finished. We are delighted with the end result and looking forward to enjoying it properly after the winter.”

“I loved Fiona's design in a friend's garden, so asked for her details. I have used Green Tree Garden Design since then (Jan 2013), both for specific design projects, and the ongoing maintenance of my garden. Fiona is warm, friendly and professional, and immediately put me at ease. She designed my front garden first. She listened carefully and spent a lot of time with me, walking round the garden and sitting at the kitchen garden with sketches and photographs of plants, to make sure she got things right. I liked the fact that she worked with my existing garden, rather than removing everything and starting again, as some other companies had suggested. She also planted the garden up in stages, and consulted me on adding more planting, so I felt the garden evolved over time, which was just what I wanted. Fiona has now prepared a beautiful design for my back garden - again working with what is already there - and work will start on that in February 2014. Fiona works closely with a team of three highly skilled, friendly gardeners, who really "know their stuff". “"What a delight! The whole experience given to us by Dan and his team from Dreamscape Gardens was professional from day 1 to the end of the transformation. It’s scary thinking of the cost of a complete makeover to a garden and you wonder if you are going to get ripped off or be disappointed. So let me say loud and clear that you can rest assured this will not be the case with Dreamscape Gardens. Having arranged a visit from them photos and measurements were taken of our garden and the most amazing scaled plans were created to show what it would look like when finished. We had plenty of time to discuss ideas and changes until the finished outline was agreed upon. As everything was ripped out our back garden looked more like “no-man’s land” in a WW 1 battlefield. And then the magic started. Paving, fencing, bedding and lawns. Every step being completed was fascinating. It was even possible to change details as the work progressed. I particularly liked the fact the team kept everything clean, neat and tidy at the end of each day. And once the work was complete Dan was keen to ensure he had put right any little snags or issues we had encountered. “A year ago, the garden at our new home was a neglected and overgrown mess, and far beyond my capabilities to bring it back to life. I had found North Leeds Garden Design on a website before we moved to Leeds, and it seemed to offer the sort of services that we were looking for. I asked Sarah Johnson to come and look at the project, and we had further site meetings before she produced a detailed plan for the restoration of the garden. I was particularly pleased that this turned out to be the style of garden that we had discussed with Sarah and not something that she wanted to impose on us. The works included new fencing and the grinding out of shrubs' roots. This part of the project was ably managed by Sarah's husband, George, who runs his own garden maintenance company. The overall outcome has matched our very high expectations, and we feel that the result has given good value for money. We can't wait to see the garden in what promises to be all it's glory in the Spring and Summer.”
