“We use Laurence to design our projects as we find he listens to our clients and will design a garden to their needs and budget. He has a good idea of the cost implications and the practical side of how the garden is to be constructed. The drawings he produces are second to none and not only can the client picture the garden we can build within 10mm of the drawing and it will work. He has great vision and we would recommend his skill to anyone undertaking a landscaping project”

“We called on Ruth for help to turn part of our unused south facing driveway into a small garden space. We wanted privacy, but at the same time didn't want to create a bleak barrier to the surrounding neighbours. Ruth's design blew us away and we knew from the offset that she got us. We were lucky enough to be able to do the work ourselves, but Ruth has been with us all the way - troubleshooting effectively when needed and encouraging us with her enthusiasm for the project. The outcome is a stunning, private, contemporary sun trap that we use every day. We can't recommend Ruth highly enough.”

The quality of her work, her attention to detail, her research to find and suggest appropriate plants for the brief we gave her and then to source quality plants, her continued care and attention with cloud-pruning and spraying - we feel we are very fortunate to have found her and have been so confident in her ability that we have called her back on further occasions to work on other parts of our garden. We have not added photographs of our garden as there are plenty of them to be seen on the Emotive Gardens website.”
