The work was carried out as agreed, on budget and on time! We are very happy with it and 6 months on would highly recommend Waterside for projects of varying size and complexity .”

“I had a fairly large border (approx 8m x 5m) which had been neglected for a few years. I wanted to create a low maintenance flower bed and liked the idea of a country garden look. Ben and Paul came round and assessed what was there in terms of position (light/shade), soil and the shrubs which were worth retaining. We also discussed budget. I then received a planting plan with a quotation and commissioned the work. The bed was cleared and planted mid June and I am delighted with the result. I now have a bed which will flower more or less from May to September and will require increasingly less maintenance as it matures. FGD are extremely knowledgeable and gave me advice on other areas of my garden (not areas which will result in work for them). I do have another two areas which do need a makeover and I will certainly commission them to undertake the project.”

“Vicki is an excellent garden designer. She really listened to the brief I gave her and delivered an exceptionally beautiful garden which is easy to maintain but has all the elements which we requested. It has year round colour and interest - which was not easy to achieve considering that we have really poor soil. She never minded if I vetoed a plant suggestion that she had made and always came up with several more possibilities. We get so much pleasure from our garden now and Vicki continues to provide advice and help. I can't rate her highly enough!”

“We had a fantastic experience working with Jane Ashley. She was professional, transparent on pricing, truly collaborative, and really listened to what we were hoping to achieve. Our small urban garden has been transformed into a secluded, lush haven in a matter of weeks. We were beginners in the garden but Jane never made us feel patronised or out of our depth. “Catherine did a great job from beginning to end. I needed to completely change the back and front gardens. She had great ideas on what would work and what would not, how to deliver the look I wanted and how to keep it within budget. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Both gardens look great - the neighbours have all commented on the front garden. She worked well with the builder who did the landscaping. She's also been happy to replace a plant that died and fix an irrigation pipe someone else broke. I cant believe how many plants I have. Given the money available for plants, I expected a small number of small plants, but the garden is full of lovely plants and it looks well established after only 3 months. Every few weeks some new plants come into flower so I think there is a good mix of plants to have flowers most of the year. I would happily recommend Catherine Rampton.”

“We appointed Pehrsson Scott to carry out the design and the construction of our town garden in Hertfordshire. We found Henry and the team to be very responsive and engaging at all times. They listened to our brief and involved us in the design process ensuring we understood every detail and were happy with the design before signing off each stage. They gave us a clear understanding of the costs from the outset and were always approachable and pleasant to deal with once the work began. “Love my garden makeover! Transformed a dull square laid to lawn plot into an oasis of calm. The combination of wildflowers, prairie planting, and year round interest continues to give me (and the local wildlife) pleasure. We asked the team to come back and redesign our front garden too. Max and Tarun are a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend.”
