They married our newly remodeled home with our existing pool as if it had always been built this way. “We have worked with Aran and his team for several years to completely transform our landscape. Beginning with a very difficult and technical remodeling of our front entrance masonry and driveway that required extensive approvals from town boards and the historical commission. The new approach to the house created a beautiful and elegant approach to the house and was further enhanced with abundant plantings and lighting.
We also worked with LandForm partners to remodel, or rather completely rebuild our second story deck, which came out beautifully. We also hired the firm to create a masterplan and richly planted landscape for our vacation home.

She made suggestions as to what type of furniture to buy, designed a layout, and helped me choose beautiful plant containers. That was just the beginning, since our original encounter, Eva and her team come over every season and fill the containers with flowers and plants, creating new and beautiful scenes. I am always impressed, and always look forward to what she'll come up with next. My favorite thus far may be this past Fall, my planters were filled with mums, kale, and chili peppers, among other things! She is extremely talented, uniquely artistic, and a pleasure to work with.”

She is experienced, creative, personable, and easy to work with. She is reliable with deadlines and commitments and takes pride in her work. Best of all, the end result is stunning!!!
A few years ago, she helped us with our pool project. (see pics of Avon Staycation project). We installed an in-ground pool, and built a pool house. She was involved in the project from the very beginning. Not only did she design all landscaping related to the project, but she helped us manage the whole project overall, from selection of contractors, assistance with decision-making on a million tiny details, and project management during the installation phase, to final touches like gorgeous planters (which she continues to maintain for us each year). I can't say enough about how fabulous her work has been. We will continue to use Dian Barnes for all of our landscape design work for years to come!”

“I wanted a unique Brooklyn backyard that was striking and pleasing. Something that maximized its size, shape, sun and shade. I believe that was accomplished to the max. FireDean was always up front with time and cost. He provided a blueprint and photoshop picture of the finished garden and an itemized list of all plants, material and labor costs. Any changes were agreed upon beforehand. The stonework took a little longer than expected because of his attention to detail. Our back and forth communication was always prompt and complete. I trust FireDean to always do excellent work. He prides himself on his finished product and pleasing his customer. He did both in my case. I know I'll have years of pleasure with my backyard.

“Bryan Quinn of One Nature advised me on the planning and design of a wetland improvement project funded through the Natural Resources Conservation Service involving development of two ponds and restoration of native habitats within the surrounding areas comprising about 15 acres.. After evaluating site conditions and laying out an overall conceptual plan for habitat zones, nature trails and observation points, he prepared a detailed plan and specs for planting groves of trees, site maintenance and circulation for areas immediately surrounding the ponds as well as supervision of site work. The work went quickly, on schedule and Mr. Quinn was very professional, generous with time and paid attention to detail, and within budget.”

“Hortulus Animae - Mindful Garden Design created a gorgeous front walk way for our home - railings, lighting and blue slate steps.
I was not a fan of railings and worried that although they were necessary, they would look big and clunky. I was thrilled with Jean-Marc's unique and beautiful vine railings that are perfect for the setting. We get compliments on them every time we have guests. He was also quick to make sure they were as functional as they are beautiful. We feel very grateful for his vision!”
