“Dominic Stone of Bottle Kiln Design first provided a garden design and install contract at my previous property Old Engine Farm, Ashover Derbyshire in the early 1980's. I moved to Derry House, Matlock in 1997. I again sought Dominic out to provide a complete garden design and install, first in the late 1990's and again a more recently to refresh the original scheme with new paving to rear areas and to pave the original tarmac drive plus to lay significant surface water drainage channels and pipes. The experience I have of Dominic and his company is beyond excellent in terms of design expertise, product knowledge, installation skill, prompt work scheduling and commitment to his customer. His pricing has always been in my view realistic. In terms of his personal integrity, from the considerable experience I have had over a prolonged period of time it is beyond question, one hundred percent reliable.”

“We would like to recommend Jonathan at Jonathan-wild@hotmail.co.uk. He has helped us immensley in getting our new garden started, designing a fabulous bespoke green house and more recently, designing a perfect site for a North facing shady area which will look wonderful and we will send a photo once it is all planted up. The head gardener at our local Garden Centre was most impressed with Jonathan's design, in fact he gave us a discount!! Thanks Jonathan, you really understood our gardening needs and came within budget. Dee and Martin”

I have been extremely impressed from the first contact with prompt and reliable responses to arrange an initial meeting at a time convenient to my wife and I. Subsequently all emails have been responded to quickly and efficiently; all questions answered without hesitation. Lee has presented an absolutely magnificent design for our garden...we are very excited to commence this project. His ideas and eye for detail are exceptionally good. “After living with a completely green garden for the past couple of years, I asked Sophie to add some colour to it. She listened to my preferences, took into consideration my desire for something low maintenance and sourced reasonably priced plants to add to my boarders. She took the time to produce a design sketch for me and provided pictures of the plants in bloom so I knew what to expect. She then came for a day, with the help of Mary, to brighten my garden and had great knowledge of the new additions and how to care for them and advice in relation to the previous trees and bushes which needed some attention to make them as healthy as possible. Months later and my garden is looking much healthier, many of the flowers still blooming with colour and with little maintenance from myself. Sophie is always on hand when I have a question about my garden, whether that be how much I can cut back, what to look out for if a plant isn’t doing so well, what the normal seasonal changes of the plants are and she can always advise on how best to care for each plant/tree. I will definitely be asking Sophie back to add to another part of my garden and most definitely to design something for future gardens.”
