“GLD not only completely designed my front and back yard, they maintain it on a regular basis. They respond quickly when I contact them. They go above and beyond. I would recommend GLD to anyone that wants the WOW yard. I want to say to the last person that sent in a review and complained: You are an idiot. I have known the owner of this company for years and he has ALWAYS done a fantastic job. He explains what will work and what will not. I know he explained things to you. Your problem is you did not ask the real boss (your wife) before you said to go ahead with the planting. When she did not like it you made up some crap to save face with her or we know who wears the pants. Bottomline it was YOUR FAULT and NOT this company. So to anyone that read his comment please disregard as he has no class or commonsense.”

She took our dream of having a stone patio outside of our screened in porch and worked with us until she had a designed a beautiful plan which was perfect for us. Now instead of 2 small decks which weren't connected, we have a beautiful outdoor living space that is perfect for larger parties, but also intimate enough for a small family gathering. Sue helped us find the right contractor and she worked with that contractor to make sure our plan turned out just the way she had designed it. “Aitken & Associates considered all of the elements we wished to include in the landscape of our home, together with the grading plan of our lot, and came up with a design that could accommodate our wishes. We have been enjoying the result for 10 years now, with my only regret being the things I changed on my own from the written design plan as we were executing, thinking I had just come up with "better" idea. Wrong! They know what they're doing, and you can be sure its been thought all the way through. Everyone in the office was great to work with, returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner, and showing up for scheduled appointments on time. Our design plan was done when they said it would be, and we went straight to the City to get our permits. Which brings up another thing: Aitken & Associates was clearly familiar with our City ordinances because upon review by the City, there was nothing in our landscape design plan that we couldn't get permitted. We were very pleased with Aitken & Associates.”
