“As a professional landscape designer, I don't trust just anyone to install my designs, and I'm wary when working with a contractor for the first time. But when my VIP clients needed a swimming pool with spa and waterfall, stone patios and seatwalls, cedar arbors, a built-in BBQ, lighting, plantings, a putting green... the works!... I invited Jeff Veliquette of Lifescape to bid, based on similar projects in his portfolio. My clients ultimately hired Lifescape -- and man, am I glad they did! It was an ambitious design with lots of opportunities for failure... and Lifescape turned it into a stunning success. Somehow Jeff not only kept track of countless details and changes, he and his crew executed them to an extremely high degree of finish. They truly take personal pride in a job well done, and obviously understand the meaning (and value) of terrific client service. Jeff also has great vision, and I was completely comfortable entrusting him to develop my ideas into a beautiful reality. Lifescape's foreman was a consummate professional as well, handling even my unreasonable requests with grace and good humor. All of us are delighted with the outcome of this project; and wary no more, I will be recommending Jeff to install more of my designs in the future.”

“We hired perfect landscaping to do are fairly large project in our backyard. I have several other quotes as well, but me and Bill were on the same page from day one. We already had a very good idea of what we wanted. Bill listen to our ideas very carefully and executed our design perfectly. The price was very competitive but the best part was that it was done on time. I would definitely recommend this company !”

“With great enthusiasm I applaud the work product created by The Landscape Company, thanks to its owner, Phil Dundas, and his competent crew. My Santa Cruz Gardens front yard was transformed from 1,200 square feet of lifeless turf to a spectacular display of drought resistant plants, providing a variety of texture and color and accented with three new trees. The backyard was renovated with drought tolerant red fescue and perimeter plants as well as mulch. The experienced crew pruned existing fruit trees, created a flagstone pathway, restored a cracked sidewalk, installed a drip irrigation system, reinforced a retaining wall, and corrected an eroded sided yard with a French drain and river rock. I recommend The Landscape Company because of the owner’s prompt response, accurate estimates, flexibility with plant selection and budget, sense of aesthetics, knowledge, practical considerations, and relationship with the landscape community.”

I reached out to bid my backyard and front yard landscaping and design ranging from installation of artificial turf to plants to pouring concrete to retaining walls. His bid was very competitive and what stood out was his dedication and easy communication throughout the job. He completed it all with a crew which was committed and worked hard to get it all done. They care about the quality of their work and are very customer focused. “My pops hired John and his landscaper crew because of their great quote and pictures on Houzz. We had a pretty big project across both backyard and front yard so we needed a professional landscaper with a reasonably price. In the backyard we did: - stamp concrete with flagstone finish - new lawn (fescue grass) with automated sprinkler system and timer - retaining wall with stucco - small fish pond and waterfall - 2 planter boxes made with stucco finish and brick cap ---- plant apple tree, lemon tree and flower garden ---- drip system for plants and trees In the front yard: - paver driveway installation - concrete sidewalk leading to the side yard - artificial grass turf so that our HOA doesn't complain if we forget to maintain our lawn and keep a curb appeal - front patio paver steps Overall John did a fantastic job! His communication is lacking sometimes but he makes up for it with great landscaping work. My parents were very happy that I called H&J Landscaping Services in Fremont over other companies that are here in Fremong. Really glad it all worked out and now our back yard and front yard looks amazing!”
