We interviewed several Landscapers and the Board awarded the contract to Manzer's for their skills and expertise and experience with large properties. In one year they have made a major impact on the landscape, with plans for development of the plantings over the next two years. Chappy is easy to work with and all of the office staff and workers are professional, on time and on schedule. They are very responsive and handle special requests promptly. We are so pleased the Board contracted with Manzer's to renovate a garden seating area of approximately 500 square feet. The project involved excavation of old bluestone, salvaging what could be reused, leveling, waterproofing, reinstalling stone, pavers and belgian block borders, benches, game tables, lighting, irrigation and new plantings. The major work is completed with the irrigation and plantings to be completed in the spring. We were glad Tom was the foreman on the job - he is highly knowledgeable with an old school work ethic. “We had 4 projects done by Eddie's Yard, the 1st was resolving drainage issues, the 2nd was a stone patio, with a seating wall and lighting. This was at our prior residence. The prices were reasonable, they were professional in their work, they cleaned up when the job was done and the finished product was exactly what we paid for. The 3rd project was redoing a stone wall, made up of natural stone, and putting in s pad for an exterior shed, the 4th project was installing a footing under the front of a rental home. These jobs were also reasonable priced, the work was done in a professional and timely manner. I highly recommend Eddie's Yard, and will use them again if and when needed.”

“I contacted Steve Relyea with Red Cedar Landscaping to get some advice on planning out a patio project, and he handed me over to his landscape architect, Mike Boice, who did an outstanding job. We wanted a bar, firepit, hot tub area, and general entertainment space with a grill, and some rock walls! Due to our large area and budget, we told him we had to do stamped concrete, but didn't want it to look like a cement jungle or parking lot. He met with us, we showed him the available space, and he came back with an amazing plan that we would have NEVER dreamed of ourselves! He came back countless times to double check measurements, check on progress, and finally to see the final product. It was SO worth getting a drawing done to have everything done right the first time, making sure we had all of the elements, and more! He was a joy to work with, so patient and genuinely interested throughout the whole process. “ONLY Hire Bob Chamberlain and his team if you want to do it right the first time. He doesn't sacrifice quality to get clients, and he is the most honest, hardworking and positive guy around. But please don't hire him if you are looking to save money, or if you are looking for the cheapest landscaper around. He's not it. But what you get with him is value for money, and a job that you will only have to pay for one time. We bought a 4 acre property which was in pretty bad condition and gave him the mandate to make the property look park-like and established all at the same time (and I asked for everything to be non-toxic and organic as well!)! Chamberlain, (who is an artist and a master gardener as well), and his team rose to the occasion over the course of the next 2.5 years and a budget of $1.5+m........He started by regrading and putting new drywells all over the property, then managed the huge project of building a new 1,000 sq foot outdoor kitchen/patio and a smaller 200 sq foot patio, 3 retaining walls, a zipline platform and many other things.....He selected, transported, prepped and planted 100's of adult specimen trees, 1,000's of plants, mature fruit trees and 6 extremely large (25 year old), priceless trees that needed a special crane to plant; trucked in hundreds of loads of new fresh topsoil, sodded the entire property, installed 25 planting beds and oversaw the irrigation company and lighting companies to make sure everything was consistent and efficient. We now have the most amazing home that we love to live in, entertain and enjoy!”
