“This lighting and design store has a huge inventory of products. I purchased 3 kitchen pendant lights and a dining room chandilier. My order came in earlier than expected which was great! . After my pendant lights were hung, i realized they didn't provide enough light. I called the store and asked explained I loved the lights but I didn't realized they were low voltage. I asked if I could purchase a different cylinder or lightbulb? The owner himself told me to return them and pick something that suited my needs better. I offered to pay the restocking fee and chose brighter pendants. This is unheard of! superior customer service at its best. I am excited to hang my new pendants when they arrive. My chandilier is beautiful. I also our chased a bathroom vanity and mirror from their other store, Lite Plus, located in Nanuet, NY. Huge array of lightening, bathroom vanities, and much more.”

“I have been working with Barbara, Perry and Stephanie for years now, and they are experts in the lighting industry! They are extremely helpful and willing to go above and beyond normal expectations to satisfy our Clients. They are up to date with the latest fixtures, for example we recently selected a "fandelier" (a ceiling fan without blades!) with them and our Client is thrilled. Budget is usually a consideration, and not a problem for Perry and Barbara. We like to support local businesses whenever possible, and that is easy to do with the staff at Sound Lighting and Design.”

“Lighting designer used for my whole house rehab after the Hurricane Sandy. Can't wait for the completion, but truly happy with the service and the options offered. Lighting design seemed like a luxury, but I cant imagine not having i done properly now that I have seen the difference. I have a kitchen that I use often and heavily and it is on a dark side of the house, but it is also visable from the street and the center of the happenings when we entertain, so I need it to be able to go from bright and utilitatrian to romantic, or festive. The options I was given by Gary Novasel did all that. I will report back when the whole job is finished, but everything I am seeing now makes me very happy.”
