Lighting design seemed like a luxury, but I cant imagine not having i done properly now that I have seen the difference. I have a kitchen that I use often and heavily and it is on a dark side of the house, but it is also visable from the street and the center of the happenings when we entertain, so I need it to be able to go from bright and utilitatrian to romantic, or festive.
