“Tom Powers, owner if Genuine Antique Lighting, is extremely knowledgable about historic lighting, has an impressive collection of authentic pieces, and is very professional in his customer service. I purchased several historic fixtures, and they were well packaged for long distance travel. He gave me very good advice on which pieces would best go with the style and period of my "new" (95 year old) home. He helped me decide on hanging height, and placement in the room, based on my descriptions and photos.”

“We are in the process of doing a complete remodel of our home. This will include replacement of all attached lighting, living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. We are also looking at what are options are for the recessed lighting. We've been everywhere, from the big box home improvement stores (high-end design capacity is not in their repertoire), and design centers (I'd like to have some money to pay the mortgage after the remodel). We met Rich Whitney at Bulbs and Lamps. He is a highly effective lighting consultant that can pull together a comprehensive plan for what you really want, and can afford. He's awesome!!”

“I hired J & K to upgrade my electric to 200 amp and install wiring in a new bedroom and bathroom and entryway that I had added. He was not the cheapest estimate that I got, nor the most expensive but he was thorough. He was familiar with the local codes and saved me some green by making sure my project would get passed by the local inspectors. Electric is not something you want botched up. What a good job he did and I had to be gone most of the time. Never at any time did I feel that I had to go back and check his work or second guess anything he did. He completed this job in a reasonable amount of time and worked very well with the contracter that was co ordinating the entire project. Thank you J and K”

“We got 100% satisfaction! I have nothing but great things to say about the lighting design in our home. Deborah did our lighting design all over the mail. We sent her the blue prints and she took it from there. Our home is in NC but that was not an obstacle. We received our lighting design in a timely manner. We expressed what we wanted and relied on the advise and expertise from Deborah for the entire house. Deborah designed the lighting for every room of our 2700 sq. ft. house. From placement of wall sconces, light fixtures all in the perfect spot, to include all the can lights (33 total). Deborah Stuke is a knowledgeable professional that knows what she's doing. I highly recommend her to anyone without hesitation. Respectfully, Lorena Popelka”
