“We had the exterior brick of our home painted. Chris power washed it, sealed it and then painted it with two coats of Benjamin Moore paint. We took the house from light yellow brick to deep gray with white trim. Chris paid attention to detail ensuring that the white caulking had a clean line by hand trimming the dark paint in various areas of the house. We also hired Chris to paint the interior of our home. In both instances he did an outstanding job...clean, thorough, detailed. You get what you pay for with Chris!!”

“I found Annex of Paredown and Brenda through the Ann Arbor Observer- yet again the source for all things wonderful in A2. I ended up purchasing multiple pieces of unique vintage furniture for a 1950's home, every single piece perfect for the location! Brenda was incredibly helpful, very knowledgable, and clearly enthusiastic about the work she does. Her fabrics are beautiful as well, and she has a great eye for mixing finishes and colors. The shop is filled with useful, timeless, quirky, fun and tasteful home furnishings and decorations. A not to be missed Ann Arbor experience!”

“I have purchased two landscape oil paintings by Igor Zaytzev - scenes from northern Michigan. I'm looking forward to displaying them on the wall of my new home in northern Michigan. The impression of the artistic works (tall pine trees with shoreline and people near Petoskey, Michigan) is that this art has been painted by a well trained accomplished artist who works effortlessly. It is somewhat impressionistic art that makes one feel that he or she, through looking at these paintings, wants to be there in the painting and feel the clean northern Michigan air and smell the pine trees in some idyllic way.”

“I have hired Sue for many projects over the past few years including Venetian Paster for my kitchen, stencils for mud room, specialty painting for powder rooms and my foyer. Her work is outstanding! Our first project was my foyer and I still love it after 5+ years. Most people coming into my kitchen for first time rub their hands over the walls to see what it feels like. Venetian plaster looks like marble - smooth stone. One bath is painted like grass cloth with creams/gray. The other is an iridescent paint with metalic stencil. On a scale of 1-10 I would give her a 10.”
