“After being disappointed by 2 other plumbing companies D H Stevens resolved my main drain line backup within 2 hours. They were courteous and explained in detail the process they were using to determine the cause and what tools they had to remedy it. “Working with Durance Plumbing has been the most comfortable and stress-free experience i have ever had with a service professional. The owner who has been to my house on at least 3 occasions for three different issues is knowledgeable, fair, competent and trustworthy. The second time he came to my home which was years after his first visit, he explained the solution to a problem I was having, told me how to fix and left without charging me. He said he could fix it and charge me lots of money or I could fix it and it would be much cheaper - and it was! I can't remember why i used him the first time but I did remember to call him in case I ever had another plumbing issue. It's rare that I feel someone is so experienced, personable and not trying to take advantage of you (mostly because of my gender) that I asked them back. I would and have recommended him to anyone I know with plumbing issues and coincidentally enough - that is how I found him - via a recommendation on a neighborhood list serv.”

“We needed a plumber in a hurry because we suddenly had no water. They came out the same day in a matter of hours and remedied the situation. They explained the problem in laymen's terms and then elaborated more in detail. They warned us of problems that we might have down the road since our well pump was nearing the 20 year mark. They came out again when we had problems, this time on a weekend after we left a message on their emergency line. Usually leaving a message on a weekend means that they might get back to you on Monday during normal business hours. Not A & B Luck-they returned our phone call within the hour!!”
