He built a shade structure off the house and used pavers for the floor areas. Mark and his staff was delightful to work with. I have contacted them many times for additional purchases and minor tweeks, and they were as helpful as when they were constructing my kitchen.”

“We originally contacted three pool contractors but selected Pacific Paradise Pools based on Rich's response time and professionalism, the fact that the company had a real (and nearby) showroom, and Rich's obvious experience in the industry. After comparing costs, we probably could have saved a bit of money with another vendor ($5k or less) but I honestly believe we received the best service and, in my experience, tradeoffs between cost and excellence are rarely worth it. Rich put together a team of experts who coordinated the various skilled work that needs to be performed for pool construction. “I'm a homeowner who found Dreamscapes on the internet and after a thorough search process, hired them to do major $500K+ project in Brentwood, CA. The project involved removal of existing pool, building new pool in hillside zone, new spa with water features, new bluestone hardscape throughout, new BBQ island with Viking appliance, two custom gas firepits, 12,000 feet of driveway, 340 linear feet of retaining walls, $75,000 worth of new plants, etc. Eric McRae and his team designed the entire project -- and did a world class job. They do a ton of work in-house and can control quality and scheduling as a result. Sub's they hired were all excellent, and worked until everything was perfect. Construction is always a process, and this was no exception, but the end result exceeded my expectations. Their masons are true craftsman who produce the highest possible product. Project took longer than planned, and some of that was my fault. They provided a clear contract with a detailed scope of work that was fairly priced and easily understood. All change orders were tracked, and i was very pleased with the billing process. I later upgraded materials and that ran up the price, but here were no upsells or hidden items. Make sure you have a complete scope of work before you begin. It's not free ... but I felt it was all fairly priced. But the quality of the work was extremely high -- and that's worth something.”
