“When hurricane Florence hit our town of Jacksonville, NC it was devastating to so many people who live here. My son, who lived in Nashville, reached out to Jeff Thorne with concerns for me and my home. After a week's mandatory evacuation, we returned to a damaged roof and a home full of water. A man that I had never met but was a friend of my son, arrived to help me and whoever else he could during this disaster. And help he did! Over the course of the next few days not only did he assess my damages and arrange for repairs to my roof, he brought supplies and tarped countless roofs in our neighborhood and beyond. He did whatever temporary repairs he could on the spot to help those in need.
