“I recently moved house, to a new area I am not familiar with, and wanted some help with window furnishings. Closs & Hamblin contacted by phone initially and asked me about my project, they arranged for a lady to come out to measure, and bring a variety of fabric samples. Julie was really helpful, and spent time listening to my ideas, then measured the windows, and advised on both poles and curtain headings. She then helped me choose the right fabric to go with my sofa, and talked through how the order would be made and fitted. I was then sent a quote, which I accepted. The curtains were hand made and delivered by a fitter, who installed the poles, and hung the curtains - again a seamless process. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, they were really friendly, listened to my requirements, kept me informed all the way through my order and delivered everything on time.”

“Sacha made 2 Roman blinds for my bedroom. She came to visit me with a very large choice of fabrics and to measure for each blind. Ordering was easy and Sacha kept me informed of when the blinds would be ready. The finished products are beautiful, very well made and fit perfectly. I am extremely happy with the service I received and the finished product. I certainly won't hesitate in asking her to make more blinds in the future.”

“Tim and Liz are professional, polite and friendly in their approach. The shutters they fitted (which were without doubt the best value on offer) are a great product and look stunning in our house. “Mel is fab. She has helped us update most of the rooms in the house, making curtains and blinds for many and advising on colours and styles as well as re up holstering chairs and stools. She has an easy approach, comes to your house and has great taste. No pressure from her though, making the whole experience a very pleasant one. She measures up and then comes and hangs the curtains, erecting poles and pelmets where required so the whole process is stress free.”

“This is a small local business where every effort was made to help find the right fabric and style for the right location. The staff were very helpful in helping my daughter to choose blinnds for the children's rooms and lounge curtains with Design Room providing good advice and lots of fabric books to choose from. Previously I have had used them for other rooms in my sons' house as well as my own. The finished products have always been excellent and completed to a high standard. I am already planning to use them for the next room we are about to redecorate.”
