“Our garden club hired General Masonry Inc.to replace a stone pillar that was leaning due to problems with the foundation. They took the pillar down, cleaned and re-used the stones, created a new foundation and rebuilt the pillar. It looks great. I was especially impressed with the company and how they worked with the village of Wilmette. Often, obtaining permits and follow up electrical work, which was the village's responsibility, takes time. General Masonry Inc. was on top of the communication among all the involved parties and our pillar had electricity within a few days of its completion. I highly recommend them for your next masonry project.”

“The project was to replace a wrap-around 3 tier wood deck with a hardscape. Jeff was as informative as he was a listener when we met to discuss our project. It has just been completed and all the neighbors are raving about it, saying it looks like a resort and wondering when we're getting a pool! The midwest is a strong Unilock market. Our patio is unique in material, making it all the more impressive. Borgert stone, made of a granite aggregate has amazing color, texture and durability. Don't have a photo yet to submit to support the beautiful work but wanted to be sure and relate what a wonderful experience it was working with Cypress Group Inc.”
