“For the front of our home, we wanted windows & doors that afforded both light & privacy. We'd had blinds on the original windows, but they cut out too much light. We'd previously looked at custom windows at Renaissance, but at the time what we liked was out of our budget. I'd stayed in touch w/ one of them, so when we were ready, we followed them to 21st Century. Debbie Chambers was our rep, and she was terrific. She showed me some custom casement windows in their display room I liked. She and my wife designed the front doors. She also referred me to Celinder Glass Design for the art glass (reviewed separately). Everything went as discussed and per contract terms. Because we were doing the project out-of-pocket, we spread it out, doing the windows about 6 mos. before the doors. The frame exteriors are vinyl for weather resistance and the interiors are mahogany stained to match the cabinetry. The doors' hardware is Emtek's Nashville. “My husband and I just moved to Orange County from San Francisco Bay Area a few months ago and one of my husband's friends had this really awesome door installed in his house. The door had multiple panels and all slid to one side which really opened up the room. We stumbled across this company New View and we visited the show room in Irvine. The showroom was a little rough around the edges but they explained that they were still in the process of setting up and had just moved to the new location. It made us a little weary at first, but it did allow us to see the door that they were offering. This particular door was beautiful! It had a gorgeous wood on the interior and the representative showed us how easy it was to operate which was one of my major concerns because my friend's door at their house in the SF Bay area was really heavy and had multiple pins so it was very difficult to operate. The one that New View had available works on magnets and was super easy to use. We shopped around at some of the competitors but our decision was easy as it was the best product and the least expensive we looked at. We just had it installed and it looks gorgeous! Our new house had brand new windows but if it didn't I definitely would have gotten the ones they had available. I wanted the windows they had available because they tilt and turn and you can clean them from inside the house but surprisingly the sales rep dissuaded me because he explained that it wasn't a good financial move at this time. Highly recommend this company, great quality and very trustworthy staff!”
