I suspect the reason manufacturers make different colours is because different people , and different designs , suit different colours better .
Even with a suggested design , and things like roof colour and door style ( even garage door ) and gutter style and feature timber and stonework and 1000 other options -- I may still prefer a different tone to you .
Otherwise we'd end up with whole suburbs that look much the same , and who would want that ?
I searched the PGH website and found they are both in the Alfresco range so any problems would apply to both.
The description "surface coloured bricks with a textured surface finish" makes me think they are the type of brick I've read complaints about. If not laid and cleaned carefully there can be chipping.
I prefer old-fashioned bricks with the colour all the way through. I don't know why they decided to take a rugged hardwearing product and change it to make it less so.
But if those are the two colours you like the potential drawbacks apply equally. so it's it's really up to you and what other colours you want to go with it.
