Hi chittering5 we used the 25.5cm lights. Our island bench is fairly small at approx 1800x900mm. I actually purchased 3 (at much better price than currently listed) but felt it was too many for the space when I mocked up the (widest) diameter of the lights with paper cut-outs. Trying to decide if I can use the 3rd light in the bathroom or something without it looking lonely....

I have one these lights in brown but different shape - i could've had the blue ones as it was a choice between the blue and brown. I live in New Zealand, but I think they were sourced from overseas. Hi there, I agree with a lot of the suggestions above. Consider the textures, colours and finishes of your furnishings and artwork and think of the pendants as an opportunity to reiterate some of these. So for instance, if you have some black metal in the coffee table legs, you may bring in some of that in the kitchen pendants and look for say glass pendants with black fixtures. Coloured pendants are fun but they can date a lot quicker - bring in colour in the room through artwork, cushions and accessories.

This depends on your budget and the style you are after. Fat shack vintage has some great lights. Or Beacon or Ikea have some good choices. I've found lovely pendants from a uk website I'll be using in my next home. And we did the same for a pendant for my last place. Look around online, and get a feel for what you like. Modern? Industrial? Rustic? Mid century? Etc.
