You want to stay away from wood-based products, like laminate and timber, where the floor could potentially get very wet, e.g. in a kitchen. I would suggest luxury vinyl tiles such as these - https://jacobsen.co.nz/residential/luxury-vinyl-tiles-lvt/

We had a similar issue. In Adelaide I think a thin film of algae that wouldn’t clean off had developed in the pores that would otherwise provide grip. After so many cleans I got frustrated and tried Napisan (sodium percarbonate) in hot water and it worked a treat! Tiles went from super slick to nice and grippy!
