Have you been to visit some kitchen showrooms? You can customise the photo search here on Houzz quite a bit. For example, you can simply select [dark wood[(https://www.houzz.com.au/photos/kitchen-design-ideas-with-dark-wood-cabinets-phbr1-bp~t_10444~a_17-103) cabinet finish in the filter options. Then add more filters like floor colour, kitchen layout, cabinet style, wall colour etc if you wish. Leave the benchtop and splashback options open and see what results you get. You can then save any photos that appeal to your ideabook.

White-matte cabinets (flat panel, not shaker) and white bench (or maybe epoxy sealed marine ply??...siriuskey can tell you about that), mirror splash. Love the ceilings. I personally would go for a modern, stream-line, no handles, integrated appliances look. This space has real potential to be very cool, even with the slate. It doesn't need any more more texture or darkness. This is a nice kitchen, you should be able to sell it on ebay.

Hi spallavidega it may help you to first have a Style of kitchen in mind, where you may like this to also relate to the overall style of your home. You may then also like to consider your selections in relation to your budget as this will help to narrow down / or widen your options. You are probably in a different state to us, but none the less; specific to your question, you may find our web site helpful. Being asked this all the time, we decided to put together a series of dedicated pages for anyone planning a Kitchen, with information regarding the properties of all the different types of materials that one could use for benchtops, doors and splashbacks. This initial page has 16 different links to information about different types of materials that you may find helpful. Once you have an idea about the type of materials you wish to use, you may then also like to go to our Suppliers page where again we have put together links to these material manufacturers where you can then review the various different colour ranges on offer. We also have a page about the use of colour, but don't be afraid to go with what you like, and Houzz here is a fantastic resource for inspiration. I hope this information is of help to you. Regards Malcolm

sorry, not good with technology. Nothing has been done yet, just wondered what colour would go with white and terracotta. Thanks.
