Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Vikings, Rome was good - anything with great writing and sets.

Dare I admit that I've been watching Come Dine With Me from England lately. Trashy I know, but I love watching the cooking, the personalities and the houses. Most need a good talking to about hygiene!

If you do choose to paint it make sure you sand well then use a stain blocker, followed by an undercoat then the top coats (best spray painted)......a bit of hard work and may not be successful. If all your other furniture is white then you can use this piece as a focal point and dress it up with a large white vase or white framed pictures of varying sizes, you can include a splash of colour with the white to lift the look. You could also buy a piece of white 4-6mm Perspex with beveled edge for the top leaving all other edges as is.

I didn't specify the fireplace - it was the one they owned, so I'm not sure of the brand but many gas fireboxes can be installed in the same way. Try Jetmaster - their Heat N Glow range has similar designs.

Love the true crime shows like 48 hours.

I don't have pay TV but when I visit family that do have it, I can watch the CI chanel for hour!!!

Right now I'm onto season three of The Killing. Smashed the first two seasons in a few days, only moving from the couch for bathroom and food. Breaking Bad also turned me into some sort of square-eyed zombie for the duration of 5 seasons.

mazpt..that's hubby's fav he watches it every time it's on to the kids' dismay..then he'll try to guess if the girl will go or not..

All and any lifestyle/real estate, fixer upper shows, watch the lot, on 9Now/life, then Escape to the Country/Continent, all the American ones: Buying the View, Lakefront Bargain Hunt, etc also Masterchef, SVU and Criminal Minds, also looks like a good season 8 coming up on SBS with Who Do You Think You Are Australia, will be watching with my square eyes!
