Buying a house privately
Comments (8)Need a section 32 like any other purchases through agent or not. Have the lawyer look at the contract first before signing. You'd put an offer in and if they accept then on signing of contract 10% deposit with a 3 days cooling period..rest on settlement like normal. offers for private sales can be just a letter stating you of such address offering to buy property at ....etc for $$$$ signed and hand it in to the home owners. they may ask for a deposit..an amount like $500 or $1000 etc they then agree and sign that they are willing to accept the offer..etc...See MoreHome Theatre Projector questions

Comments (4)Most people buy a house with the longer term in mind, not just the next six months. By the time you have your house on the market, the marketing campaign complete, and settlement finalised all of the dirty, messy renovation stuff that is happening next door now will be well and truly over. How will that floor level match house. How does it flow with rest of house. What will the view be? Can you install carport in front setback? Cost it out and look at your alternatives....See MoreAnglophilia
