Hi jgjustingordon63! Good luck with your reno - it can be exciting and scarey doing a reno! Have you considered doing subways a bit differently such as the pic below (I found via Pinterest)? This way, it doesn't matter really the size. Check with your builder/tiler re the fall if you want large-ish tiles for the floor. If it's a small bathroom, this might be an issue. In the pic above they've gone with small tiles which also looks really lovely. One other point I would make from experience...We used charcoal floor tiles AND grout. Bleach can discolour the grout, so you just need to be aware of that. There are ways around it and you can re-grout down the track (at an expense) but just giving you the heads up here! Good luck!! Love large floor tiles and floor to ceiling tiles. Is feature wall the window wall ? I'd choose everything to harmonise with benchtop prob white wall save contrast feature and love taupe beige floor tiles and beige white and black combo Would black vanity suit your benchtop I love my laminate black gloss vanity with self close drawers and caroma opal basin (white porcelain) I also like wall and floor tiles same large size perhaps smaller in shower floor for non slip or "gritty" floor tiles eg lappato

Hi, I am at same stage of renovating kitchen, regional Western Australia, harder to get different but I have found these at my local tile shop, that had to be ordered in, not up yet but our house is 1960 build and I had the red brick exposed with glass over the top, while very unique and lots of positive comments it was in a chimney location and debris fell behind and I have had it replaced once to clean it up and it happened again so I am afraid it is going, I am covering with same stone as bench top in fire place but I am using some marble tiles on other area. I wanted the stone behind stove top for cleaning purposes but I love the tiles I have selected I hope they look as good once up, I agree about not wanting house stuck too much in 50/60, my bricks were red and I found it quite dark when cooking as well, I am looking forward to clean white behind stove, I actually found the harshness of the old brick a bit depressing.. I don't think industrial look is for me .. I love your lights I think I actually had them on my list... the whole look looks fabulous, I hope you are surviving, I have had enough of cooking in the laundry but I must say I could write a book on the creative gourmet using $29 electric frying pan from target, I have fallen in love with it. :)

Hi Michelle. The fixed mirror was in line with the doors of the cabinets so that it looked like one large mirror with 2 joins. Our vanity was sort of in an alcove so the vanity and mirror went the full width of the alcove, about 1500mm. The alcove was because one corner of the bathroom was cut out to make a cupboard in the adjoining room, and the other side of the alcove was a matching wall which hid most of the toilet. That's why it worked to have a bulkhead in the alcove. I'd sent a photo but we've moved to an already built house. I miss those cabinets. We had wanted the cabinets to be inset in the wall but that didn't get communicated clearly enough in the plans. We (actually the builder) partly packed out the splashback area above the basin so that the cabinets did look partly recessed. Whether that's an option would depend on how much width you have to play with. Our ensuite was not small. I might also add that we decided to only put in 1 basin because the idea of needing 2 seemed so wasteful. We never regretted it. We easily worked out our morning schedules to not need the basin at the same time.
