Best vanity colour to go with Frosty Carrina Benchtop

Hi,
We have half hog bristle walls in our bathroom and I am trying to choose a vanity colour. At this stage we are looking at Frostly Carrina benchtop with perhaps either Ghosting or Powered Rock cabinets. Also would London Grey benchtops be too grey with half hogbristle?

If you want the wall and floor tiles to be the hero in your bathroom I recommend you keep the vanity very simple. The white cabinet you have will be least obtrusive with a 'white' top. I love the elegance of stone and man-made stone is generally more durable. Check out Caesarstone Organic White or Frosty Carina. Although Frosty Carina has more pattern than Organic White, it's quite discrete so shouldn't compete with pattern on the tiles. If the tiles are charcoal or a dark brown/grey then either should work. Love to see a photograph when it's finished, whatever you decide.

Oh excellent, thank you, it looks lovely! I have been to many of the suppliers but QQ is too far away for me with a screaming baby in the car and they won't mail me samples! Once I choose a stone mason I will view them in person because I hear even with Quartz each slab can be a little different. I was thinking maybe Lexicon quarter...warmed up a bit...but I'm not sure. Thanks for the warning, I do have time on my side so I might go get some sample pots and see what actually looks ok with our lighting.

Here are links to 2 older threads that may be useful to you. The common suggestion is steer away from cool or stark whites with this stone. It might be worth seeing how 1/4 strength antique white usa colour looks with Frosty Carina. Or 1/4 or 1/8 strength beige royal?? This colour at full strength is suggested in one of the links. White-matte cabinets (flat panel, not shaker) and white bench (or maybe epoxy sealed marine ply??...siriuskey can tell you about that), mirror splash. Love the ceilings. I personally would go for a modern, stream-line, no handles, integrated appliances look. This space has real potential to be very cool, even with the slate. It doesn't need any more more texture or darkness. This is a nice kitchen, you should be able to sell it on ebay.

Given that your vanity & the benchtop are the high cost items in the room get what you really want for those 2 items then decide on a paint colour. It's a lot cheaper & easier to repaint than using the paint colour as your starting point.

Hog Bristle & London Grey won't complement each other - Hog Bristle has a warm beige undertone whereas London Grey is cool.

Agree with @how2girl. The colours you're suggesting for the vanity sound lovely. Frosty with ghosting would be my pick. And yes ditch the hogs bristle for a white. Hogs bristle does not look right with greys.

Totally agree with how2girl & bigreader on the grey + hogsbristle.

Just for another idea, a crisp white (or very slight off-white) benchtop would look great against hogsbristle, then you can have the freedom to choose a 'colour' for the cabinets.. such as a neutral like Hogsbristle, or even a timber finish.

Personally I like the look of white against Hogsbristle, just something different to consider.
