Open bathrooms. I really dont know.
Comments (53)So many opposing, I actually love it! Just re designed our ensuite and as you walk into the bedroom you can see our beautiful bath under a leafy window! And shower is in full view- we don't have issues with nudity. The toilet is more hidden behind a book though, There is lots of airflow and no dampness. I do have an extraction ceiling fan, Obviously you can still get privacy, and we have another bathroom to use for the smelly stuff (lol) or if one is waking earlier than the other to get ready for work :)...See MoreHelp. Comments (23)thanks to everyone for your helpful comments! I was going to have to pay around $190 for 6 more, but will order them from Beaumont who have a 25% sale on at the moment. I agree that I need to just live with the cost and finish the job properly, but your shortcut suggestions were all really interesting and much appreciated. And archimondo, I'd say it's like having a kangaroo loose in the top paddock....See MoreReally need help with combining tile colours in bathroom and how?
Comments (8)I am just wondering whether it is a good thing or not to go with solid colours like the dark blue (prussian blue), grey floors and white on other walls all in tiles. I see that a lot of designers seem to do a pattern on one wall, but I haven't found one suitable and whatever I do, I just don't want it to look out of date in 5 years time. I am not sure how about much of the prussian blue tile is appropriate in order for it to be noticeable but not too overpowering....See MoreThe Great Bathroom(s) Debate
Comments (18)I would prefer to keep the WC separate to the Bathroom as you have 3-4 kids? who will get bigger very quickly, having a powder room downstairs won't help with the morning rush to school., But it's your house so I have added a pocket door between the WC and Bathroom. I have also taken that small robe space for an extra vanity in the WC/Powder room. No width dimesion given for the WC The ensuite could use that extra entrance space as a sit down makeup and hair bench for your wife....See MoreZara Walters
