my understanding of how a skillion roof works is that it will actually move air the other way and vent on the high side. So you can build level walls and put a row of louvres above the wall on the high side for ventilation. You will need windows or vents on the low side too to bring the air in.

Hello, the way to make the room feel bigger is to take out the ceiling up to the roof line and add an openable / remote operable roof window. Look at Fakro and Velux web sites. A bit of structural work to do in the roof but well worth the effort to achieve a light filled ventilated space. Ideally a " wet room " with no timber products and all stainless steel fittings. No chrome on base metal otherwise they will corrode in no time. If you can try and break through walls for the wall cabinet if there is a cupboard or robe behind this is also a space saving method. The window can be pushed out in a bay to enhance the space. Have not read much of the above but importantly remove all tiles, do not tile over old tiles. Waterproof the shower area walls before tiling. Don't take the glass shower screen to the floor, leave a gap and stand the glass on a stainless steel balustrade foot. Angle or channel fix the other edge to the wall. No need for a door on a wet room. Vanity cabinets are available in plastic but change the screws to stainless steel. Ideally no base cabinet and have a wall recessed cabinet as mentioned above. Don't think outside the square, think outside the box. Hi Runsy, I'm in NZ not Australia but I haven't heard of the Primocosy system. Many manufacturers will claim around 90% efficiency but there are different ways of measuring it so it might be quite different in reality. A few things you could check: - Does it have a counterflow heat exchanger? (most efficient) - is the heat exchanger plastic? (a plastic heat exchanger is more efficient than metal) - does it have summer bypass? (you *don't* want to recover heat when outside air is within a few degrees C of indoor air) - is the bypass automatically operated in a set temperature range? - what are the filter grades? As others have mentioned, one product may not solve all their particular problem/s and quite often more than one product / solution may often be required to obtain a better outcome . I’ve found a lot of problems start initially with overall buildings design , orientation and the amount of glass / windows used and their sizes /design and type / amount of insulation used overall . Having been in the window tinting industry for about 38 years now and covering both domestic and commercial buildings , I’ve noticed how the weather patterns changed to an extent that the solutions/ products that may have been available / used some 30 odd years ago ; now have new and updated products / solutions on offer .
