Need help to put TV in a Living room
Comments (6)Hi I am David from Bang & Olufsen. Our Tv's have 180 degress of motion allcontrolled via a remote. We can mount blu-ray players and foxtel box directly to the back so they are hidden out of sight and can be controlled via our one remote. They have beautiful speakers built in to the tv as well as apple TV and Netflix. Please give me a call on 9356 8111 if you would like to discuss. Comments (10)I just noticed you posted a duplicate dilemma. After viewing photos of your home, I think the paint colors I suggested are Perfect-AND-DEFINITELY paint the ceiling one of the 2 colors mentioned. When selecting a rug, consider one with texture, subtle pattern, and at least a shade or 2 darker than the floor. Best of Luck!...See MoreNeed opinions and advice on fireplace/TV/living room layout
Comments (8)i'd like some feedback on the two windows, as I am currently looking at the same thing without windows. Why r they there given the expanse of glass on other wall. My mum had two narrow vertical windows either side and as they were un curtained they look like black rectangles at night which I found spooky. They didn't let in much light because of trees outside, but I guess if u had a skyline view say they may be useful. They also compromised positioning of artwork....See MoreAdvice on combining my TV and study room
Comments (17)Having a desk of any kind will always be a bit messy if you are like myself. I have placed the computer desk into the niche with the Wall Mounted TV next to it for a reason, we are like minded two screen people, me for drawing plans. The screens mounted at the correct height for the user so you are looking up and not down to avoid any neck problems. Having the screens up off the desk allows more workable space, Open storage above with a set of drawers on one side under the desk with a pull out extra desk top (Ikea ). I didn't go into a whole lot of detail with my first post, you mentioned not wanting anything in front of the window which you viewed down the passage way, Your corner lounge with extra lounge or 2 x arm chairs creates a great conversation space with a large coffee table and a great place to put your feet up while watching TV. A good reason for placing the Desk and TV side by side is to allow you to consider a sliding door to cover the office, as per this photo, which can be pulled across the TV to the wall, you would need to have a small Nib wall on the passage way end of the Niche, I would have expected that anyway You appear to be having trouble with space for your bathroom, suggest you look at a Japanese style bathroom as per the photo, you can position them across or down the room. cheers...See Moremicgellekatham
