Haha thanks Gioenne. Yep, I knew the Levanzo table was the one when I saw it. There is another dining chair in Nick Scali that looks good with it, only $300 each, still a bit on the high side when I need 6 of them. We scored the table for half price on sale recently, thank goodness so if I absolutely HAVE to go back there for it I wont cry AS much. No, I dont really like modular lounge chairs, I prefer the kids to sit seperatly. I like my own comfy space. :-)

Great job on the kitchen and I agree with some of the former comments - a glass splash back would look good and the silver seems a good choice. If you decide to go with tiles I would suggest a White Tile with a smattering of Black and Grey markings with the colors prominent not subdued. I wouldn't think Brown but why not experiment with a few different colors and see how they look and in conjunction with other colors until you come up with a match. Only a small area but nice to get it just right first go. Good luck

@purplekristi - yes the kitchen has a gable window which makes all the difference to the light! @oklouise - sorry that's the latest floorplan I have, although most of the changes we complete before we bought the house. we did fill in the cavity slider (highlighted green) off what is marked as dining area on the plan. I've made some measurements on the attached plan. the filled in green area has been made a front hall with entrance door at the end. and the carport made a filled in garage. I do know the highlighted orange wall is definitely loadbearing, but would have to check on any others. thank u all for your input!
