Looking for a light grey paint for a new build inside walls any suggestions

If you have a boat , you can launch it in bigreaders 'arbour hahaha . Wood toned , or real wood window frames would add to it IMO -- that 3rd house that you like ( so do I ) , you see how the timber gate is so simple , but takes it from being a 'white box' to being a beach theme . And like you , i would be mildly worried that the right side will look a bit plain , especially as it will be very similar to the garage side -- that was why I suggested actual bricks . The windows , even if in white or black , are quite 'interesting' in shape , but being symetrical and flat that wall may look a bit 'meh' . To do one side white , the other in say a surfmist ( a slight blue tinge ) may look too try-hard too , but maybe do that 'righthand' side in weatherboards ? Keep it simple , paint it exactly the same as the rendered walls , but it will not look the same ? Also , weatherboards where what seaside cottages were traditionally constructed of , so there's that tie-in there too . Just throwing ideas around . And on a complete side note , I can't understand the logic of no brick walls -- I assume it is all new-builds , and brick adds variety and interest , its generally warm and IMO attractive -- just my preference , but I prefer some brick as opposed to an all render look .

We are doing white as well, ended up going for Lexicon mid-strength after painting all three, quarter, mid and full in swatches on the wall in our daughters bedroom. Like bargainhunter says the mid throws a blue undertone, turns out my daughter who is 12 now 'hates' it, but it definitely changes in certain lights and it's subtle and I'm still happy we went with it. The warmer whites if they throw anything slightly yellow I don't like them, so I'd rather have a cool blue undertone than yellow, but it depends on what you like. We are actually going to change now to Lexicon quarter for the rest of the house after we paint our 9 year old sons room, and I'm sure we'll get the blue undertone in some rooms, but I'd rather that than yellow. Plus we have timber flooring so it's more likely to make the yellow undertone in a warm white more obvious. We went with vivid white for trims/doors. I honestly think where you live also plays a part. We're in Brisbane, and whilst it's winter and cool at the moment, the majority of the year it's a warm/hot climate so I think cooler colours can assist with that feeling you get of cooling you down or maybe that's wishful thinking lol, but if you are in a colder place I really think that perhaps using that warm white would be a better choice again mentally creating that feeling like you mentioned of warmth and cosiness. Black benchtop will absorb a lot of light so I would go white on cupboards and splashback . Add interest with tiles using a dark grout to highlight tile pattern of your preferred style
