What colour laminate floor?
Comments (29)Hi Rachael and rhjaai Regarding batch numbers................I have not heard that one before, wondering who advised you of that, and which product. Quickstep, Godfrey Hirst, and other quality manufacturers do not have batches, as such, that require matching. You can replace a plank with another batch and it will make no difference. Rachael, I agree you have perfectly matched the floor with cabinet sample, and will look great, but if you haven't already purchased, I'd recommend you look at http://www.karndean.com/en-nz/floors/easy-fit-ranges/karndean-looselay These vinyl planks are amazing and are quickly becoming a best seller here in NZ, soft underfoot, easy to keep clean, R10 slip rating ( R11 is required behind bars/clubs etc, so very high), lifetime residential warranty, and look great....See MoreVinyl floor for the whole house-anyone done it before and any regrets?
Comments (6)Thanks LesleyH. It's music to my ears since our place is on concrete. Of all the houses listed on Domain, I'm yet to come across one with vinyl flooring for whole house or most part of the house, so it's still bugging me a little. Went into carpet court last weekend they use vinyl display on their own shop floor and there are a lot of gaps between vinyl planks, which doesn't look enticing. The salesperson explained this is due to poor floor prep and the site is prone to water issue, which as tenant they can't fix. Certainly not a good look to convince potential buyer....See Moreluxury vinyl flooring

Comments (5)I love the oak colour you have pictured, its timeless and warm and goes with virtually everything. I have the same carpet in your 3rd image in the straw colour and find it so easy to spot clean, it does not seem to hold stains at all. However I will admit the light colour needs regular shampooing but it comes up as good as new every time. Personally I would go for the grey carpet that is furtherest away in your first image and looks slightly two-tone as we rented a house for a year that had a dark solid-colour carpet and it drove me insane. You could see every little tiny bit of fluff that landed on it and I was forever bending down picking up bits of cotton, etc....See MoreVincent Zhang
