That is a hard one with those tiles. I would have to think if you did a white, it would kind of work with the colour of your tiles. At the end of the day, they do need to be replaces, but as you said, due to budgeting reasons, you cannot, I can pass on this photo of a nice bathroom with those tiles for you though for inspiration... : )

Ah - this takes me back to the 70s, when I decorated my teenage bedroom around a bedspread with this blue and green combination! So .... very retro and cosy. For me, it's a better cold climate or winter colour scheme. I like it, but think I would tire of it more quickly than a more neutral scheme.

I agree with Paul. In this case I probably would have used the white tile you have used on the other two walls for the far wall as well. Because this is a smaller sized bathroom, the back wall now seems closer, whereas if you kept up with the white it would have made the room feel bigger. You've done well with the placement of fixtures though, it's always a tough job when a bathroom doesn't give you much space. - Jenna

Are you tiling the shower base? If so the larger the tile then the more cut tiles will be needed to get the drainage right to direct water to the floor waste. If it is a small bathroom make sure that your tiler aligns the grout lines on the floor with the grout lines on the wall. If they are slightly offset they look pretty bad. Would you consider using the same 300x600 tile on the floor and wall? If so then lay the tiles horizontally, not vertically. However with any good tiling job the better, flatter and straighter the wall is before tiling will result in a better result.
