There are tutorials on Pintrest and also locally on Katrina Chamber’s webpage for painting windows. It can be done successfully but it does turn your windows into a painted surface, so goes from no maintenance to maintenance needed. I would paint everything that can be painted the colour you’ve already successfully implemented inc gutters but leaving the roof and bricks (bit give them a clean). I’m not sure what you’re planning but the tiles on the verandah and stairs takeaway from the house’s appearance.

I like the Prehistoric colour on the rails. I’d paint all the rails that colour. I’d paint the cedar above the window too, (even though I lived in a house once and never painted the cedar because I loved it!) Id paint the eaves white and put in more modern light fixtures. Then decide if you want to do the windows. They match the garage door so I’d tend to leave them, it would be a huge job and if done badly, would spoil the house.

Continue on with the colour you have done, do all your trims in the same colour, will look stunning, we painted window frames using Dulux weathershield 10 years ago, still look great, agree with bigreader about tiles, decking covering the tiles and stairs would look beautiful. Look for gorgeous planters and a couple of outdoor chairs to sit back and enjoy your beautiful home.

Thanks for the input, that’s very helpful 😊 I would be painting the garage door as well just considering which colour would be best? I’m thinking the Prehistoric to match the rest of the trim. Do you all think that black window frames would be ok with that? I’m pretty keen to paint the window frames black on the inside and therefore considering if painting the exterior black as well is the right thing to do 🤔

For a modern brick home aim to keep to about three colours max. Of which your bricks are one, the roof another so that leave Prehistoric for everything else. Of course rules are made to be broken and black is close enough that using it for exterior windows wouldn’t be disastrous. But using Prehistoric outside also wouldn’t preclude you from doing Black on the inside.

Agree with bigreader, I would stick to prehistoric on the outside and black on the inside , going the black widow trims with the prehistoric everywhere else might just throw the look off, as you can see one colour of trim (here black) looks more stylish than mixing, but doing black on the inside would look great.
