Entry Exterior Design Dilemma

Driveway Colour Decision

last year

We are getting a new driveway and front entry concreted. What colour do you think would suit our style of house? Everybody gets charcoal, but thinking maybe something warmer like the existing colour?

are you replacing the whole concrete slab or just re-colouring the exiting slab??? plain clean concrete colour would be my choice for new colour or exposed aggregate in a light grey colour for a new slab

Are you doing any other work to the front of the house Or repainting anything? Finalise those first.

Hi Sara, I definitely agree with the other responses here; you cannot put Woodland Grey with Ironstone. If you like Woodland Grey choose warm green/brown colours to compliment such as, Surfmist, Dune, Pipe Clay. And for the fence consider going darker still such as Monument. Blackest Brown is also lovely but not as popular because, well, it's brown.

I would actually go with a light colour in between the wall and trim colours or a mix so it looks like exposed aggregate on the drive . You could possibly use an epoxy product with a paint flake in it. it will compliment your home and be easier to maintain than a darker colour as you unfortunately be hit with bird dropping and these will be more invisible on a later mix colour effect with a non slip additive

Hi, my experience has been that every company has different aggregate depending on what is locally available so for us to choose a colour is impossible. Have you got a shortlist? Maybe that would be a better way to help?

Great house, you have a black sail and beautiful modern white shutters, if you painted your trims, garage doors, front door in a darker colour this would compliment the bricks, it would look fantastic and give a completely new look to your house and tie all those elements in, then add a concrete coloured driveway.
