Ideas for our bedroom
Comments (10)The look that I think you already have is old Hollywood glam, and it's beautiful! The look is enhanced by the framed black and white print (Audrey Hepburn?). Try a row of smaller prints on the large wall to the right of the bed, in the same theme. Then add a touch of luxury with some lustrous silver / grey drapes. I think that the hanging lamps cast a beautiful soft light that would be lost with the addition of wallpaper. Agree with the suggestion of adding mirrors behind the pedestals to make them visually bigger. Try to find some with bevelled edges for that extra touch of class. I think that the room needs a small touch of soft colour - a pale shade of teal, grape or fuchsia would work. Take your chosen colour a shade darker for an accent wall behind the bed if you're into drama. Add a flowering orchid to each pedestal, a candle or two or maybe some antique silver ware and it's lights, camera, action ......See MoreNeed your ideas for small master bedroom
Comments (25)I really like these [bed side tables[(https://www.houzz.com.au/photos/north-seminary-contemporary-chicago-phvw-vp~13970763) which are bespoke although too large for my room. Anything similar, but not as wide, in Australia..ideally Melbourne?...See MoreReplanning our bathroom, ensuite and bedrooms
Comments (19)my concern with the windows was to make sure that there is a window for light and ventilation for each separate space but it should be quite simple to build shelves to suit the windows in the wiw but what is the size of the windows in each room? that is width, height and distance above the floor?...See MoreCreative ideas needed for a luxury bedroom makeover
Comments (77)Hi Houzzers You have all been so kind with your design advice, and helped us come up with this design. I think we are nearly there, and are pretty happy with the result...we still ended up with the door into bedroom from hall....but think it will be ok.....may swing the door the other way...will put doors on bathroom and sitting(not shown) I like the 2 dressing areas we have created either side of our wardrobes, and the seperate toilet. Very happy for any other input on this design before we send it off to the builder!...See Morecarthiefintexas
