Dorrigo Home

Another re-invention turning a daggy, dim cottage into a light filled home connected to its beautiful garden.
The owner of this house had been looking to move into town from the farm. This place was identified as having the best garden, but a very dingy house. The eaves were low, the veranda was too narrow, there was no front door & an internal level change had to go. A simple re-ordering of spaces & implementation of better insulation & passive solar orientation of glazing has totally re-invented this home. Once unpleasant, now warm & comfortable in all weather. Everything is near to hand for an active retired farmer, in familiar places.
