For this grand old mansion in Sydney's leafy North Shore, the owners' brief was a little bit of Hamptons with lots of white and blues 'because these are colours we'll never tire of'. And we totally agreed.

There is a symphony of blues used throughout the house, whether inky navy, teal or cornflower. They set the tone early on from the entry foyer and formal lounge at the front of the house and continue to meander all the way to the expansive outdoor living area at the back.

We wanted to achieve a lightness and freshness throughout, with an honesty of design and execution. Artwork is prevalent in most rooms and we relied on the colour, glorious textures and graphic patterns of the soft furnishings to weave the stories of our clients' lives, past and present.
